She passed away December 24th in Lawton, OK at the age of 96. She moved to the Broxton area with her family in 1919. She graduated from Broxton High School. She married Clyde S. Holland on July 8, 1934 in Apache, OK. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1967. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church at Broxton and was a member of its quilting club for many years. Irma sold Avon for over 20 years. She enjoyed visiting with her clients. She later became a certified nursing assistant and worked at the Carnegie Nursing Home until she retired. She became a member of the First Christian Church of Apache and has been a faithful member to her church. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She is survived by: 2 sons and their wives - Pat and Barbara Holland Apache, OK, Kenneth and Paula Holland Apache, OK; 9 grandchildren - Clayton Holland, Brandee Bonomelli, Tammy Whetsel, Robin Holland, Chris Anthony, Lacey Holland, Dixie Holland, Michael Purser, David Purser; 6 great-grandchildren - Bradley Holland, Courtni Whetsel, Malachi Whetsel, Micah Whetsel, Connor Anthony, Nikolai Anthony. She was preceded in death by: Her husband-Clyde Holland, Her daughter-Betty Purser, 2 sisters - Annabell Long and Marjorie Herman. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 27th at 2:00 P.M. at the First Christian Church with Pastor Bill Hugueley officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home. |

She was born in Anadarko, OK on June 24, 1948, to Steve and Mary Palczynsky. Paula spent much of her life serving others: Secretary of the Caddo County Democratic party for four years. Owner and Operator of two restaurants in Apache, OK. A school cook at Broxton and Apache public schools. An in-home cake decorator A caterer, serving the Apache and Cyril Rotary Clubs. Member of the First Christian Church of Apache Loving mother to five wonderful daughters. Paula will be best remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor. She wants everyone to live long and prosper. She was survived by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Holland of Apache; and five children: Tammy Whetsell, Kenndra Chris Anthony and her husband Eddy Anthony, Stephannie Robin Holland and her wife Lisa Shulka, Lacey Holland, and Dixie Holland. She had five grandchildren: Courtni Whetsell, Malachi Whetsell, Micah Whetsell, Conor Anthony, and Nikola Anthony; and one great grandchild, Clair Dimas. She is also survived by her brother, Stevie Palczynsky of El Reno and Micki Geyer of Chickasha. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Richard Palczynsky of Texas.
