© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, June 17, 1945 ~ July 19, 2011 Memorial service for Bernie James Hargrove will be held Friday, August 5th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cowboy Church north of Porter Hill with Pastor Paul Lutz, officiating. Bernie passed away July 19th, 2011 after a brief illness. He was 66 years, 1 month, and 2 days old. He was born June 17th, 1945 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Virgil and Hazel "Ryans" Hargrove. He was married to Kimberly Lynch on October 9th, 1982 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He attended Lawton and Apache Public Schools. Over the years he worked in many aspects of the transportation industry, including truck driver dispatcher, mechanic and in 1983 owner and operator of K & B Leasing Company where he enjoyed teaching and the friendship of the many drivers that have crossed his path. He was currently leased with Bekins Van Lines Trade Show Division. He loved family, good times with friends, life on the road, and fast cars. He is survived by his wife of the home, Kim Hargrove, and 3 children. A daughter, Rajeana Hargrove of Denver Colorado. A son, Steven Hargrove of Apache Oklahoma. A daughter, Stacy Hargrove of St.Cloud Minnesota. 7 Grandchildren, Joshua and Talisa Valdez, Megan and Chad Hargrove of Denver Colorado. Weylin, Landon and Jordan Hargrove of Apache Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews. A brother, Robbie Hargrove, Lawton Oklahoma. 3 sisters, Patricia Gannon, Parker, Texas, Sharon Shaw, Allen, Texas and Kathie Drake of Elgin, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by a son, Bernie James Hargrove “Jamie” Jr., Parents, Virgil & Hazel Hargrove. A brother, Dwayne Hargrove and sister, Judy Setzer. |
