© Crews Funeral Home Apache, Caddo CO, Oklahoma November 2011 June 2, 1955 ~ December 24, 2008 APACHE - Funeral for Sharon Kay Fowler, 53, Apache, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Apache with the Rev. Leon Shade officiating. Mrs. Fowler died Wednesday, December 24, 2008, in Lawton. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under direction of Crews Funeral Home. She was born June 2, 1955, in Rush Springs, to Garland Franklin and Nellie Ruth Bennett Smith. She lived in this area all her life. She had resided in Rush Springs, Sterling, Lawton and Cyril before making her home in Apache. She had worked as a cashier but was homemaker. She married Eugene Fowler on January 27, 1991, in Wichita Falls, Texas. They were members of a 4-Wheeler Club. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Allen Salmon, Las Vegas; two stepsons: Loren "Skipper" Ray, Geary; and Kenneth Fowler, Oklahoma City; three stepdaughters: Vicky Ray, Binger; and Diana Carson and Joni Ware, both of Apache; four brothers: Larry Smith, Mac Smith, and Clifford Smith, all of Rush Springs; and Rondle Smith, Fletcher; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. |
