Oklahoma City, Oklahoma WTuesday, January 30, 1996 May 4, 1915 ~ January 28, 1996 Loy Jewell, age 80, died Sunday, January 28, 1996 at a Bethany Health Care facility after a sudden illness. She was born May 4, 1915 at Vinita, Ok., grew up in the Apache-Cyril area and moved to OKC as a young lady and graduated from Capitol Hill High School. She worked many years for F.W. Woolworth Co. and T.G.&Y. She also farmed with her husband, Ron near Alex, Oklahoma before moving to the Bethany/Yukon area two years ago. She was a member of Forrest Hills Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Ron of the home; one daughter, Elizabeth Holshouser and one son, Ronnie Evans and wife, Gloria, all of Yukon; four grandchildren, Becky, Janson, Tommy and Susan, and three great grandchildren; also by one brother, Perry Roscoe Davis of Cole Camp, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Opal, Ruby, Imogene and Ruth. Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 1996 at Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel in Yukon with interment following at 2:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Apache, Ok. |
