© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, March 6, 1935 October 8, 1878 ~ February 28, 1935 Alden Farmer Dies Suddenly At Home Early Wednesday Funeral services were held at Apache Friday for George P. Erman, well known farmer of the Alden community, who died suddenly at his home Wednesday morning. Mr. Erman was found about noon Wednesday by Paul Erman, nephew, who lives on an adjoining farm. The body was lying near his granary and apparently the man had been stricken suddenly as he was about his morning chores. He lived alone, and it is thought he had not suffered any unusual illness recently. George P., Erman was born October 8, 1878 at Mt. Sterling, Ill. being 56 years, 4 months and 19 days of age at the time of his death. He is survived by one brother, F.A. Erman of the same community, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Parsons, Stockton, Calif. and Mrs. Clara Greer, of Los Angeles, besides 13 nephews and `2 nieces. He was buried beside his parents at Apache. Of a jovial disposition, he had friends wherever he was known and will be remembered in his home community for his kindly acts. |
