Anadarko, Oklahoma February 19, 2018 September 9, 1955 ~ February 13, 2018 Memorial service for Barry "Stroker" Ellis will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 19, 2018 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bud Jones officiating Barry "Stroker" Ellis, age 62, of Apache, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Apache. He was born September 8, 1955 in Ada, Oklahoma to Alma [Sanders] Daniel and Billy Ellis. He moved to Lawton at the age of seven and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1974. He was a truck driver with Halliburton, Jennings and Deluca trucking for most of his adult life. For the last ten years he was a farmer on his family’s farm. Survivors include his daughter, Heather Mendez, Apache, three grandchildren, Adam Ellis, Colorado, Zarryah Mendez and Elyaz Mendez, both of Apache, step dad, Leonard Daniel, Ada, Oklahoma, two brothers, Ricky Ellis, Texas and Tom Daniel and his wife, Sharyl, Stonewall, Oklahoma, three sisters, Pam King and her husband, Gary, Ardmore, Oklahoma, Tammy Latimer, Mason, Michigan and Kim Lackey and her husband, Gary, Ada, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and his faithful sidekick, Boo Boo. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alma Daniel and his son, Chad Ellis. |
