Pauline [Self] Edwards
August 15, 1931 ~ April 4, 2017


Pauline Edwards Of Apache, OK Was born August 15, 1931 in Lawton, OK to Otis and May [Lance[ Self. She passed away April 4, 2017 in Lawton at the age of 85.

Pauline married Junior Wade Edwards on November 26, 1949 in Clovis, NM. He preceded her in death on September 26, 1993. They moved to Apache in 1967.

She worked for the Apache Schools as a cook. Pauline was a member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing and kept a garden. She especially loved her grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by: 1 son and his wife - Larry and Linda Edwards Apache 2 daughters and their husbands- Pauletta and Paul Jestice of Bethany, OK Debbie and James Claborn of Apache, 7 grandchildren - Joey Edwards, Brett Drake, Eric and wife, Crystal Edwards; Janesa and husband, Levi Griggs; Brannon Claborn, Brandi and husband, Keith Spriggs; Marvin "Scooter" Dickerson 10 great-grandchildren - Ella Edwards, Emerson Edwards, Makayla Griggs, Hunter Smith, Garrett Griggs, Chelsea Spriggs, Bailey Spriggs, Ben Spriggs, Regan Spriggs, Gabrielle and husband, Bobby McCracken 4 great-great grandchildren - Hunter McDaniel, Adalynn McCracken, Kyler McCracken, Karter McCracken 1 sister and her husband - Christine and Conrad Hewitt of Slatington, PA, and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by: Her parents Her husband, Junior Edwards 1 son- Clifford Edwards 1 grandson- Larry Nash Edwards 1 granddaughter- Heather Jestice 3 brothers - Buster Self, Olen Self, Melvin Self 3 sisters - Ruby Coley, Thelma Roth, Juanita Hearrell.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 7th at 2:00 P.M. in the Crews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.

Karen Sue [Setzer] Edwards McConnell
November 24, 1938 ~ April 3, 2019


Sue [Setzer] McConnell was born November 24, 1938, in Carnegie, OK, to John Alvin Setzer and Cleo Juyne [Reese] Setzer. She passed away peacefully on April 3, 2019, at the age of 80.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery, Apache, under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.

Sue was a strongly independent woman. She was feisty and friendly and never met a stranger. She enjoyed her daily runs to the Quik Stop for her Dr. Pepper and to visit with everyone there. Each year she looked forward to family reunions and seeing her cousins. She married Richard Edwards; he preceded her in death. Later, she married Tommie McConnell on February 4, 2007.

She will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Edwards; parents, Alvin and Cleo Setzer; sister, Jeanne Lair; her two brothers, Buck Setzer and James Setzer; and a nephew, Adam Setzer.

Survivors include her husband, Tommie McConnell; nieces and nephew: Cindy Mullins, Chris Chadwick, Cathy McKellips, Angie Harmon, John Setzer, and Jill Griego. She also has numerous great nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

Debra Lee "Debbie" [Lusk] Edwards
February 21, 1965 ~ June 4, 2020


Funeral service for Debra L. Edwards,64, of Apache will be held 2pm Monday, June 8, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Apache with Kerry Glasgow, officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home.

Mrs. Edwards passed away Thursday June 4, 2020.

Debra “Debbie” Edwards was born on February 21, 1956 in Lawton OK to Jack and Katie Lusk.

Debbie graduated in 1974 from Apache High School.

She then married Clifford Duane Edwards. They had one son, Larry Nash.

Debbie attended Aladdin Beauty College and received her cosmetology license.

Debbie loved spending time with her granddaughter and her great grandchildren. They were the light of her life. She also loved doing hair, crafts, and getting her pool ready for her family to enjoy her.

Debbie is survived by her granddaughter, Gabrielle McCracken and husband Bobby, of Apache; two grandsons: Jason Flores and Jacob Flores; 3 great grandchildren: Adlynn McCracken, Kyler McCracken, and Karter McCracken; her special daughter, Seberiana Palmer and husband Ryan; 1 brother Kenny Lusk; 2 sisters: Jackye Coffman and husband G.E. and Sandy Prewitt and husband Wayne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Nash Edwards; her parents: Jack and Katie Lusk; and her special sister in law, Pamela Lusk.
