Drake, 80, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. May 28, 1995, at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Apache, with the Rev Bud Jones, pastor, officiating. Mr. Drake died May 26, 1995 at Lawton. He was born December 23, 1914 at Gotebo. Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the Navy having served in the Navy. He was married to Eudean Jewell Reynolds on August 17, 1946 at Anadarko. After their marriage they moved to Southwest of Broxton where he farmed until he retired in 1980. They moved to Apache in 1979. Survivors include his wife, Eudean of the home: one son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Judy Drake of Lawton: one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jimmy Hill of Carnegie: four grandchildren, Deanah Henry, Deborah Drake, Heather Hill and Marcy Ann Hill, and one sister, Maybelle Drummed of Nevada. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home. |

Viewing will be held May 17 from 1-7 p.m. at Crews Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held May 18 at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Apache, OK. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crews Funeral Home. Judy was born in Lawton, OK to Douglas and Edna Faulkner on October 3, 1944. She attended Lawton High School. After graduating, she worked at the Comanche County court house for 16 years. After meeting the love of her life, Rodney Drake, they were married and went on to start and run a successful real estate business for the next thirty years. After semi-retirement, Judy enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening in their beautiful back yard, and visiting the casino. Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Drake; her parents, Douglas and Edna Faulkner; her sister, Shirley Legum; her great grandchild, Dax Davis; her nephew: John Garrett; her niece, Shannon Legum; and her 4-legged children, Sir Bud Drake and Barney Drake. Judy is survived by her children: Darren Brown, Doug Brown and spouse Paige Moore, Deborah and spouse Damon Green, Deanah and spouse Brian Jeffs; sister; Beth Garrett; grandchildren: Ashley Brown and spouse Harmon Davis, Taylor and spouse Shelby Jeffs, D.J. Brown, Hunter Jeffs, Peyton Green, Jordan Drake, Brooke Green, and Hayden Cason; great grandchildren: Houston Davis, Kadyn Brown, and Maverick Davis; nieces: Jennifer Hoffman and Beth Legum; great nieces and nephews: Amy Beth Garrett and Cooper Morrow; and 4-legged children: Bingo and Willie “Spike” Drake. Funeral Services will be held July 11th at 2 p.m. at First Pentecostal Holiness 1121 East Apache Trail Road Apache, Ok. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crews Funeral Home. Rodney Dean Drake was born in Anadarko, Ok. to Earnest and Eudean on June 20th, 1947. He went to school at Broxton. He graduated college from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s in animal science. After graduating from Oklahoma State University, Rodney started a landscaping business in Norman, Ok. After his father retired and his parents moved to the City, Rodney moved home to take care of the family ranch. After meeting the love of his life, Judy Drake, Rodney and Judy were married and went on to start and run a successful real estate business for the next thirty years. After semi-retirement Rodney enjoyed sitting in the pasture Facebooking with his 4-legged children. He and Judy also enjoyed gardening in their beautiful backyard. Rodney is preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Eudean Drake, his great grandchild, Dax Davis and his 4-legged children; Sir Bud Drake and Barney Drake Rodney is survived by his wife Judy Drake.
