Robert "Bob" Douthit
1938 ~ June 25, 2002


PAMPA - Robert "Bob" Douthit, 64, died Tuesday, June 25, 2002.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Powell, pastor of Hobart Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Douthit worked for Energas, retiring in 1984 after 27 years of service. He was a veteran of the Army.

Survivors include his wife, Gwen; two daughters, Rene Garrison and Carmen Knutson, both of Pampa; four sisters, Floy Madison of Pauls Valley, Okla., Velma Jones of San Antonio, Pauline Clark of Lawton, Okla., and Oleta Young of Taloga, Okla.; three brothers, Doil Douthit of Howardwick, Charlie Douthit of Pampa and Donnie Brown of Rush Springs, Okla.; five grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Priest Park Church of God, 1123 W. Gwendolyn St., Pampa, TX 79065.
