© Crews Funeral Home Apache, Caddo CO, Oklahoma December 2011 August 6, 1912 ~ December 5, 2011 Ida Matilda Teichelman Dinse 0f Lawton, Oklahoma, the sixth daughter of August Carl and Augusta Henrietta Unnasch Teichelman, was born August 6, 1912 in the family farm house three miles south of Sagerton, TX. She passed away December 5th in Lawton, OK at the age of 99. Ida attended Flat Top School and had to walk to school. Growing up on the farm meant that she had to do farm work such as chopping and picking cotton. She was baptized November 17, 1912 and confirmed September 18, 1927 at Faith Lutheran Church in Sagerton, TX. On January 29, 1931, Ida married Bill Carl Dinse in Apache, OK. He preceded her in death September 24, 1962. They farmed northeast of Apache until 1941 when they purchased a farm 12 miles north of Lawton, OK and grew wheat and oats and raised cattle. She was a member of the Yakkity-Yak Club. Ida loved to quilt and made many beautiful quilts. She raised chickens and had a garden. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Lawton. Ida is survived by: 1 son and his wife - Virgil and Norma Dinse Lawton, OK; 1 son-in-law - Joe Quinton Lawton, OK; 7 grandchildren - Alan and wife Kathie Dinse; David Dinse; Mark and wife, Robin Dinse; Carolyn Dinse; Terry and wife, Jeanine McCracken; Sheryl and husband, Bryan Denton; Diana and husband, Simon Quintero; 13 great-grandchildren -Dusty Foust, Billy Foust, Jamie Dinse, Chris Dinse, Joshua Dinse, Matthew Dinse, Brandon McCracken, Melissa McCracken, Mitchell McCracken, B.J. Denton, Michaela Denton, Britney Quintero, Brandon Quintero; 6 great-great grandchildren - David Dinse, Mariah Dinse, Morgan Dinse, Kyle Foust, Blake Foust, Riley Dinse; 1 Brother - Herbert Teichelman Aspermont, TX; 1 Sister - Corine Lewach Sagerton, TX; 1 sister-in-law - Wilma Teichelman Sagerton, TX. She was preceded in death by: Her husband; 1 son - Merle Dinse; 2 daughters - a stillborn daughter and Ruby Ann Quinton; 6 brothers; 8 sisters. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 8th at 10:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church in Lawton with Rev. Dr. Bill Schneider officiating. Assisting with the service will be Pastor Richard Mayer and Pastor Mark Mozeik. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery at Apache under the direction of Crews Funeral Home of Apache. © Crews Funeral Home Apache, Caddo CO, Oklahoma February 2009 June 2, 1918 ~ February 7, 2009 APACHE - Funeral for Maxine Rebecca Dinse, 90, Apache will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Apache with Richard Mayer, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Dinse died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, in Lawton. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery under direction of Crews Funeral Home. She was born June 2, 1918, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to Charles and Nena [Huber] Dailey. The family moved to Stecker soon after and she attended Stecker Public School, where she met her husband, Herman Dinse. They married Aug. 26, 1935, in Chickasha and remained married 68 years until his death in 2003. The couple made their home near Stecker where they farmed and ranched. She enjoyed games and traveling all over the United States. She was an active member of the Stecker Ladies Study Club and did volunteer work within the community. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church of Apache for 73 years. She held various offices in the Lutheran Ladies Aid. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Shirley Dinse, Apache; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Stanley Bailey, Cyril; eight grandchildren and spouses: Brad and Alician Bailey, Kenny and Caryn Bailey, Steve and Melissa Bailey, Angela Rasmussen, Christi and David Norther, Wendi and David Ferrell, Randy Nealis, Deone and Michael Quisenberry; 16 great-grandchildren: Taylor Bailey, Stacey Bailey, Grace Bailey, Halle Bailey, Nicole Shellhorse, Breanna Shellhorse, Kaden Ferrell, Kaylee Ferrell, Lisa Nealis, Trevor Nealis, Kaisha Howell, Karley Quisenberry, Jason Northern, Justin Northern and Jake Northern. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Homer Dailey, Eldon Dailey, Robert "Bob" Dailey and Charles "Bill" Dailey; and four sisters: Bertha Mae Hargrave Teeter, Pearl Stafford, Pauline White and Wilma Collier. |
Lawton, Oklahoma December 2021 March 9, 1942 ~ December 7, 2021 Funeral service for Norma J. Dinse will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 13, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Bill Schneider, Pastor and Rev. Richard Mayer, Pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church, Pea Ridge, Arkansas officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Apache, Oklahoma under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Norma J. Dinse, 79, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2021. Norma was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on March 9, 1942 to Juanita Thelma [Tanquary] and Harry Norman Jadlot. She lived in Bethany, Oklahoma until the age of 4, at which time she moved to Edmond, Oklahoma. Her high school education was received in the Edmond school systems. She then attended Draughon School of Business. She married her first husband, Jerry Don Barton, on November 21, 1964 and became widowed on September 27, 1977. She was employed at Adam Mills Corp., Edmond, Oklahoma. Norma married Virgil W. Dinse on May 27, 1978 at her home at Lake Hiwassee, Arcadia, Oklahoma. Together they moved to Lawton in 1979. On March 27, 1988, she was confirmed in Christ and was a devoted member of St. John Lutheran Church. She was highly regarded and accomplished many things that she was very proud of, such as being a member of Lutheran Women's Missionary League [LWML] and holding several offices. She also helped to form St. John Lutheran Preschool in 1997 where she taught. Some of Norma's passions in life were tending to her beautiful flowers, farming with her husband, being a faithful homemaker, and living a life of God with her church. She was a teacher and very passionate about being a loving part of the children's lives. Her husband, Virgil W. Dinse, of the home, survives her. Also surviving her are her children, Diana and husband Simon Quintero of Lawton, Oklahoma; Alan Dinse and wife, Kathy of Wellston, Oklahoma; David Dinse and his friend, Jarrod Peters of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Mark Dinse and his friend, Nona Ruggles, of Wellston, Oklahoma; Carolyn Dinse of Wellston, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Chris Dinse and wife Terri, of Wellston, Oklahoma; Joshua Dinse and wife Mary; Matthew Dinse and wife Allison of Edmond, Oklahoma; Billy and Dustin Foust, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jamie Tice and husband Josh of Tioga, Texas; Britney Quintero, of Lawton, Oklahoma; Brandon Quintero of Lawton, Oklahoma, and brother-in-law, Joe Quinton, eight great grandchildren, Vicki and Scott Bucey, Valerie and Steve Mansfield and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Juanita Jadlot, Edmond, Oklahoma, her brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Donna Jadlot of Ventura, California, sister-in-law, Ruby Quinton and mother-in-law, Ida Dinse, as well as her first husband, Jerry Don Barton.
