Riley George Davis
June 4, 1905 June 29, 1906


Died June 29, 1906, Riley George Davis, son of Mr and Mrs L. L. Davis.

Little Riley was about one year old.

The funeral was conducted by Rev Carruthers of the Apache Mission and the remains were laid to rest in the Apache Cemetery

Bill Davis
October 10, 1936 ~ August 24, 2017


Bill Davis Of Apache, OK A Memorial service will be held Monday, August 28, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Chris Stinnett officiating.

Mr. Davis passed away Wednesday, August 24th in Lawton, OK at the age of 80.

Bill was born October 10, 1936 west of Boone, OK to Thomas Porter and Mary Melba [Bradley] Davis.

He attended Boone School and later graduated from Apache High School with the Class of 1954.

On June 15, 1958, he and Judy Edwards were married at the Methodist church. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary this year.

Bill owned and operated the Rock Service Station for many years before beginning a career in the retail automobile business. He worked many years in Lawton before returning to Apache to work for Malone Ford.

Bill was a member of the First United Methodist Church and served 17 years on the Apache Volunteer Fire Department.

He had a great love for horses, raising cattle and going to the Apache Sale Barn every Thursday for the sale.

His greatest enjoyment though, was spending time with his family.

He is survived by: His wife, Judy, of the home 1 daughter and her husband- Tammy and Darrel Parker Apache, OK 1 son and his wife- Terry and Judy Davis Cyril, OK 1 grandson and his wife- Cody and Jillian Allison Apache, OK 2 great-grandchildren- Levi and Karli Allison 4 Step-grandchildren- Eric Parker, Brandi Hunt, Cody Dutton, Ashley Dutton 3 step-great-grandchildren- Jaxten Parker, Teagen Parker, Gabe Hunt Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: His parents 1 brother-Dale Davis 1 sister-Wilma Culley. Memorial contributions may be sent in Bill's name to the First United Methodist Church of Apache

Joynell W. [Stidham] Davis
February 2, 1939 ~ August 9, 2008


Graveside services for Joynell W. Davis of El Reno were held today in the Fairview Cemetery in Apache with Rev. Leon Shade officiating.

Services were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davis died Saturday at Grace Linving Center.

She was born February 2, 1939, in Washita.

She was a homemaker.

She moved to El Reno in the early '70s.

Survivors include three sons, Randy, Alan and Tony Davis, and a daughter, Kimberly Davis, all of Arkansas; brothers, Burlon Stidham and Hershel Stidham, both of Chickasha; sisters, Jynelta Snodgrass of Elgin and Dollean Mahan of Fletcher; and several grandchildren.
