Charles Gregory Cunningham
April 1, 1947 ~ April 3, 2018


APACHE: Charles Gregory Cunningham, 72, Apache, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

Greg was born April 1, 1947, in Elgin to James B. and Vera Cunningham. Greg was the sixth of nine children.

As a child he attended Stoney Point School and graduated high school from Elgin Public Schools.

After graduation, he joined the Air Force in medical services.

Greg was a fun-loving man who enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. He worked hard until his last day and will be missed by many.

Survivors include by his wife, Jacquetta Cunningham; children: Katie Larson of Oklahoma City, Jason Cunningham of Elgin, Amanda Cunningham of Oklahoma City, Tony Cook and wife Diana of Faxon, Timothy Cook and wife Heather of Houston, Texas, Sara Wilson and husband Kenny of Midwest City, Steven Schell and wife Shirley of Yuma, Ariz., Tammy Shook of Tucson, Ariz., and Karla Stanek and husband Alan of East Grand Forks, Minn.; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings: Mary Guzman of Moore, Annette Rhodes of Blanchard, Patricia Shafer and husband Dan of Apache, John Cunningham of Apache, Timothy Cunningham and wife Polly of Lawton, Jeanie Nix and husband Rick of Elgin and Mildred Hicks of Sterling.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and brothers: James Aaron Cunningham and David Paul Cunningham.

John Clinton Cunningham
February 25, 1949 ~ February 11, 2012


John Clinton Cunningham of Apache, Oklahoma was born February 25, 1949 in Everett, WA to Pernell and Elsie Julia [Brown] Cunningham. He passed away at his home in Apache, OK on February 11th at the age of 62.

John served in the Army.

He married Donna Kay Jackson on September 10, 1971 in Apache. He obtained an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice/Sociology from Cameron University. He worked as a police officer before going to work for a road construction company. He retired as a Branch Manager for Road Safe Traffic.

He loved all sports, especially golf. He also enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball for many years.

John is survived by: His wife, Donna, of the home; His son, Chet Cunningham Apache, OK; His mother, Elsie Cunningham Snohomish, WA; 2 Brothers - Larry Cunningham Snohomish, WA; Jerry Cunningham Silver Lake, WA; 2 Sisters and their husbands - Donna and Les Martin Yakima, WA and Lisa and Rob Orton Snohomish, WA, 1 Sister-in-law, Linda Jackson Apache, OK; 1 Brother-in-law and wife, James and Diana Jackson Apache, OK; 5 nephews - Dewayne and wife, Terry Wilcox Apache, OK, Devin and wife, Linnie Wilcox Sand Springs, OK, Josh and wife, Molly Gaddis Apache, OK, Brent and wife, Candice Jackson Oklahoma City, OK, Bryan Jackson Oklahoma City, OK.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pernell Cunningham.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 11th at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church of Apache with Pastor Chris Stinnett officiating. Services are under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in John's name to a favorite charity, the Cameron University Golf Team, or a local Little League Baseball Organization.

Donna Kay Jackson Cunningham
November 22, 1952 ~ October 18, 2019


Donna Kay Cunningham was born November 22, 1952, in Anadarko, OK, to Chester Jackson and Betty [Cain] Jackson. She passed away at her home in Apache, on October 18, 2019, at the age of 66.

There will be a family meet and greet at the residence of James Jackson in Boone on Saturday, October 26th, at 4:00 pm.

Donna graduated from Apache High School in 1970 with honors.

She married the love of her life, John Cunningham, on September 10, 1971. To this union they had their only son, Chet Cunningham.

She worked for many years as an office manager at a doctor’s office in Lawton.

When she was not working, she was baking or spending time with her granddaughter.

She loved baking for her church and family, and was well known for her famous desserts. She loved her family dearly and was the world's greatest "Nanaw."

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Betty Jackson; husband, John Cunningham; and sister, Linda Jackson.

She is survived by her son, Chet Cunningham, wife Tara, and granddaughter, Charlotte Cunningham of Lawton; brother, James Jackson, wife Diana, and their two sons of Boone; as well as a multitude of other family and friends.
