Chickasha, Oklahoma September 2020 June 2, 1944 ~ September 17, 2020 Jerry Don Cooper Sr. was born June 2, 1944, in Anadarko, Oklahoma to John Henry and Alpha Lou [Langston] Cooper. He finished life’s journey on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at the age of 76. Visitation will be on Friday, September 18, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Crews Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 19, at 10:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion Christian Church, 13174 County Road 1400, Apache, with Pastor Joe Jones officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crews Funeral Home. Jerry graduated from Broxton High School in 1962. He married Cheryl Lynn Allison on January 12, 1963, in Broxton. He was employed as a truck driver for Steagal Oil until he retired. He also was a farmer who enjoyed working his cattle and driving his tractor. He loved to fish and hunt. Jerry was a big family man, loving to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Stella Youngblood, Dorothy Brewster, Mary Hamilton, and Betty Kiefer. Jerry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Cheryl Lynn; children: Jerry Don Jr. and wife Kelley Cooper of Broxton, Stacy and husband Doyle Finney of Anadarko, Kim Freie of Anadarko; grandchildren: Dustin and wife Launi Cooper, Adam and wife Ashley Cooper, Jesse Cooper, Sarah and husband Devin Keathley, Daniel and wife Heather Price; Elizabeth Finney; Dillon and wife Caitlin Freie, Kylie Freie, Kassidy Freie; and great grandchildren: Caitlynn Cooper, Kally Cooper, Case Henry Cooper, Brynn Cooper, Bryce Cooper, Xavier Keathley, Logan Keathley, Khi Price, Hannah Price, Finnick Price, Fisher Price.
