Fort Sill, Oklahoma October 14, 2009 February 5, 1971 ~ October 14, 2009 APACHE Memorial service for David C. Butler II, 38, Apache, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Oak Street Church of Christ with Roy Young officiating. Mr. Butler died Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Fort Sill. Arrangements are under direction of Crews Funeral Home, Apache. He was born February 5, 1971, in Hahn, Germany, to David Clellan and Melitta Hagedorn Butler. He became certified as a welder and worked for Boardman Inc. in Oklahoma City for several years. In August, he moved to Apache and worked for Roy Wilcox Contracting, and he was doing work at Jay Kinder Real Estate in Lawton. Survivors include his parents: David and Melitta Butler, Calhoun, Ga.; two sons: Zachary and Zane, both of Lawton; his companion, Robin Lunsford, Apache; her children: Hannah Lunsford, Maverick Lunsford, Aaliyah Harris and Casein Couch; two brothers: Michael and Kari Butler, Cartersville, Ga.; and Nathan Butler, Santa Fe, N.M.; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Donna and Russell Stripling, Claremore; Nikki and Waylon McCray, Apache; several nephews and nieces: Casey Butler, Michael Butler, Austin Cowing, Bailey Stripling, Caylin Stripling, Micah McCray, Keegan McCray and Rian McCray; and his grandmother, Alice Francevics, Munich, Germany. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Willie Butler. Memorial contributions may be made to Shamrock Bank, P.O. Box 317, Apache 73006 to help with funeral expenses. |
