© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklhoma September 2008 LaVerna June [Hunt] Bunch April 16, 1935 ~ September 8, 2008 LaVerna June Bunch of Marlow, Oklahoma, was born April 16, 1935, in Lindsey, OK, to John and Helen [Largent] Hunt, and passed away September 8, 2008, in Lawton, OK. Mrs. Bunch graduated from Archer City, TX, High School. She lived in Marlow most of her adult life. She was a Baptist. She was also a former member of the Apache Head Start Council. She married Amos Bunch in Marlow on Valentineís Day, February 14, 1982. Together they enjoyed camping, fishing and attending musical events and concerts. Survivors include her husband, Amos Bunch, of Chickasha, OK, one daughter: Rhonda Barney of Frisco, TX, her grandchildren: Brad Claborn and Crystal and Trey Foster; great grandchildren: Danielle Claborn, Dakota Antonson and Savannah Foster; two step-sons, Lonnie and Vanetta Bunch of Chickasha, OK, Tommy and Angie Bunch of Minco, OK; two step-daughters: Marketta and Al Johnson of Edmond, OK, Sandra and Danny Powers of Lindsey, OK; 12 step-grandchildren and 12 step-Great grandchildren. Mrs. Bunch had a lot of pride in all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Cleta M. [Doyle] Kaler. Services for Mrs. Bunch will be held at 2pm Friday , September 12, at the Crews Funeral Home Chapel in Apache, OK, with Reverend B.J. Bowles officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home. |
