Edgewater Park, Oklahoma March 10, 2013 March 20, 1930 ~ March 10, 2013 Noah Barfield Of Edgewater Park, Oklahoma was born March 20, 1930 in Chattanooga, OK to George Ernest and Nola [Petty] Barfield. He passed away at him home in Edgewater Park on March 10, 2013 at the age of 82. Mr. Barfield entered the Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He married Avon Caudill on August 5, 1950 in Lawton, OK. She preceded him in death February 3, 1984. He worked as a floor mechanic for Fowler's for over 35 years. Mr. Barfield enjoyed "tinkering around" with various hobbies, including leatherwork, woodworking, carpentry, and gardening. He trained and rode horses. But his greatest joy was the love he had for his family. He enjoyed spending time with all of his kids and their families. He is survived by: 2 sons and their wives - Coy Lee and Cynthia Barfield Spokane, WA David Allen and Debbie Barfield Apache, OK; 2 daughters and their husbands - Shirley Kay and Boyce Kimbrell Fulton, TX; Peggy Ann and Billy Mays Apache, OK; 10 grandchildren - Melinda Molsbee, Noah Barfield, Michael Barfield, Mitchell Barfield, Amanda Frost, April Metzger, Rachel Barfield, Christopher Molsbee, Curtis Mays, Crystal Aragon; 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: His parents; His wife; 1 brother; 1 sister. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 14th at 11:00 A.M. at Fairview Cemetery in Apache. Burial will follow under the direction of Crews Funeral Home. |
