Elgin, Oklahoma April 2017 July 12, 1992 ~ April 29, 2017 APACHE Funeral for Jesse Deason Bain, 24, Apache, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, at First Baptist Church, Apache, with Pastor Kerry Glasgow officiating, assisted by Jason Brower. Mr. Bain was killed in an auto accident east of Elgin, Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the age of 24. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under direction of Crews Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Blade Weryackwe, Tanner Bassel, Kenneth McCracken, Mickey Milam, Grant Wills, Weylin Hargrove, Hunter Rhude, Bryson Sechrist, Shawn Fletcher, Jason Crews and Blake Mindemann. Jesse Deason Bain was born July 12, 1992, in Texarkana, Texas, to Michael Brent Bain and Janie Carol Sechrist Smith. He graduated from Apache High School in 2010. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, before going to work in the railroad. He then worked as a welder, and was currently employed by Falcon Energy as a Flowhand. Jesse was a member of the First Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing guitar, hunting and fishing and spending time with his friends. He loved his family, especially spending time with his brothers and sister. He was very close to his grandma, Carol, who, according to Jesse, was the best cook in the world. He is survived by his parents, Michael Brent Bain, Apache, and Janie Carol and husband, Rod Smith, Apache; two brothers, Dustin Bain and D.J. Bain; sister, Jaylee Bain; nephew, Kallin Bain; two grandmothers, Virginia Bain, Lone Grove, Carol Sechrist, Apache; aunts and uncles, Jeramy and Jennifer Sechrist, Ken and Janice Wilcox; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Harvey Bain and Truman Sechrist. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church for the "Falls Creek Fund".
