28 Jan 2003 Danny Dewayne Bailey September 3, 1938 ~ January 25, 2003 HOBART ~ Funeral for Danny D. Bailey, 64, Hobart, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Apache First Baptist Church with the Rev. A.L. Swagerty and the Rev. Shane Hall officiating. Mr. Bailey died Saturday, January 25, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Apache, under direction of Crews Funeral Home. He was born Sept. 3, 1938, in Apache, to Herbert L. and Hazel Love Bailey. He married Beverly Bodenstein in 1969 in Apache. He was the manager of T.H. Rogers Lumber Co., Apache, for 12 years. He then moved to Clinton to manage the T.H. Rogers Lumber Co. there, and retired in 1989 after 30 years. He sold home improvement for Sears, then he bought and managed the HiWay Inn Motel in Hobart in 1992. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club in Clinton, and the Hobart Chamber of Commerce. He served in the Army from 1962 to 1964, and he was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law: Shelley and Jerry Ogle, Norman; and Danya and Danny Pickard, Harrah; seven grandchildren: Dathan, Jordan and Kaylan Pickard; Trey Denton; and Celia, Ryan and Jacob Ogle; two sisters and brothers-in-law: June and Jack Myers and Pat and Maurice Huber, all of Oklahoma City; four brothers and three sisters-in-law: Lawrence Bailey, Albuquerque, N.M.; Walter and Robin Bailey and Dick and Wilda Bailey, all of Apache; and Stanley and Betty Bailey, Cyril; and many nieces and nephews. |
Lawton, Oklahoma January 1997 April 29, 1968 ~ January 14, 1997 Funeral was held Thursday, 16 Jan 1997, in First Baptist Church, Apache, with the Rev. Doyle Wilburn, pastor, and the Rev. AL Swagerty officiating. Burial under direction of Crews Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Michelle, Yukon, and his parents, Dick and Wilda Bailey, Apache. |
