© Crews Cyril Funeral Home Apache, Oklahoma May 2012 Marjorie [Halford] Adamson July 8, 1932 ~ May 24, 2012 Marjorie Adamson Of Apache, Oklahoma Was born July 8, 1932 in Ellsworth, Kansas to Dale and Thelma Payton Halford. She passed away May 24th in Lawton, OK at the age of 79. She Married Edward Dean Adamson on May 31, 1951 in Salina, Kansas. A dedicated homemaker, she raised five children and was "mom" to many of their friends as they grew up. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, and was an avid bell collector. She loved playing card games and it was not unusual to find her with family and friends gathered around the kitchen table eating pizza and french fries playing games until late in the evening. Marjorie joined the First Baptist Church and was baptized a year ago. Marjorie is survived by: Her husband, Edward, of the home, 2 Sons and their wives - Joe and Terry Adamson Jacksonville, IL, Robert and Cindee Adamson Cyril, OK, 2 Daughters and their husbands - Diana and Stevie Wilson Marion, TX, Pamela and Danny Farley Orcutt, CA, 12 grandchildren - Jason Wilson, Jeramie Wilson, Joyce White, Misty Costiloe, Carrie Rawe, Josh Chandler, Amy Clason, Jack Bean, Cara Jackson, Kaytie Cowans, Kristy Farley, Miranda Nicole Adamson, 4 great-grandchildren - Madison Wilson, Lilly Adams, Kayden Bean, Mercedes Marie Adamson. She was preceded in death by: Her parents, 1 son- Billy Adamson, 2 brothers- Charles Halford, Donald Halford, 1 sister- Mary Jane Wiesman. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 29th at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Rue Scott, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home. |
