© Delaware Nation Newsletter Anadarko, Oklahoma May 6, 2021 Wanda Louise [Lopez] Parker December 23, 1926 ~ May 4, 2021 Wanda Louise Parker, 94, of Anadarko, OK was born on December 23, 1926 in Verden, OK . She was the daughter of Andrew and Emma [Osborne] Lopez. She went to walk the golden streets of Heaven on May 9, 2021 at Physicians Hospital, Anadarko, OK. She attended and graduated from Fort Sill Indian School. She married the love of her life, Art Parker on September 11, 1953 in Oklahoma City, OK. Together they lived in San Diego, CA for almost sixty years, before returning home to Anadarko, OK. Wanda loved tending to her flower bed and gardening. She enjoyed road trips and finding the best deals when bargain shopping. Cherishing her memory is her special nephews: Eric Lopez and his wife, Rhonda, Anadarko, OK; John Smith and his wife, Polly, Norman, OK; special nieces: Melissa Klingman and her husband, Terry, Anadarko, OK; Amy Gabriel and her husband, Marshall, and Samantha Peterson, Chickasha, OK; great-grand nephews, Jacob Post and Caulder Lopez , Anadarko, OK. Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Art Parker, and her parents, Andrew and Emma Lopez. She leaves behind her loving family and many close friends in San Diego, CA. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
