John Patrick "Butch" Downes
December 19, 1957 ~ August 2, 1992


Funeral services for John Patrick "Butch" Downes, 34, of Cement were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 5 at the First United Methodist Church of Verden with the Rev. Joe Allbright, pastor, officiating and David Bradley, associate pastor of the First Baptist Church of Verden, assisting.

Butch was born December 19, 1957 in Bremerton, Wash., and died Sunday, August 2, 1992 in a one-vehicle accident on S.H. 92, just south of Chickasha, in Grady County.

Services were under the direction of Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko.
