Cement, Oklahoma June 23, 2016 Billy Ray Wilkinson August 17, 1945 ~ June 23, 2016 Funeral service for Billy Ray Wilkinson will be held 1:00 pm Monday June 27, 2016 at the Bible Baptist Church in Chickasha. Billy Ray Wilkinson was born August 17th, 1945 West of Anadarko, Oklahoma to Bill and Ruby Wilkinson. He passed away at the age of 70, on June 23rd, 2016 in his home at Cement, Oklahoma surrounded by his loved ones. He was raised in the Ft-Cobb/Carnegie area from 1956 until the family moved to Cement in 1966. He joined the U.S. Army in 1967 to 1969 and served a tour in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Purple Heart for being wounded in combat. Billy R' went to work in the oil field and did so for over 50 years. At the age of 50 he went back to school and became a Certified Welder. He then owned and operated Billy R' Wilkinson Welding business for the last 15 years of his career. He married Brenda in June of 1986. Once retired, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the "Lake", was an avid fisherman, a 32 Degree Mason and Shriner. He loved to tell tall tales and good jokes, while lighting up the room with his million dollar smile and those baby blue eyes. He was a tremendous Son, a loving Husband, Brother, Dad, Papa and Uncle. He was a great friend to many, and was always there in a time of need, or encouragement. He was baptized at Bible Baptist Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma in March of 2015. He was preceded in death by his father Bill Wilkinson, mother Ruby Wilkinson, Brother Glen Wilkinson, Daughter Vickie Johnson and Nephew Jacob Wilkinson. Survivors include: Wife Brenda Wilkinson of the home, Son Ricky Wilkinson and his wife Michele of Cement, Daughter Kimberly Le Bleu of Chickasha, Daughter Keri and husband Travis Jahn of Chickasha, Granddaughter Lachanda and Michael Bohannon, Casey Johnson and Grandson Jeremy Johnson all of New Mexico, Grandchildren Whitney, Emily and Tyler Wilkinson of Cement, Peyton, Paige and Trey Yeoman of Kingfisher, Peyton Le Bleu of Chickasha and Great-Grandson Seth Bohannon of New Mexico. Brother Chester and Susan Wilkinson of New Castle, Brother Ivan Lee and Trisha Wilkinson of Cement, Brother Marvin and Nora Wilkinson of Cement, Sister Shirley Thompson of Blanchard, Sister Linda and Troy Ford of Cement and Sister Retha Thoma and Bob Culler of Oklahoma City, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Lawton, Oklahoma Thursday, November 7, 2013 Carolyn Ruth [Fleming] Wilkinson August 7, 1947 ~ November 7, 2013 Funeral service for Carolyn Ruth [Fleming] Wilkinson, 66, Cement, will be at 2:00 pm Monday, November 11, 2013 at the Cement Assembly of God with Rev. Mike Bates, pastor of the Assembly of God, Rush Springs, OK and Pastor Dan Nemlowill, of the Cement Assembly of God officiating. Carolyn passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 in a Lawton hospital. Burial will be in the Celestial Gardens, Cyril, OK under the direction of Becker-Rabon Cement Chapel. She was born August 7, 1947 in Lovington, New Mexico to Herbert R. and Clytie [Hudgens] Fleming. She grew up in Lovington where she attended high school, got married and then moved to Cement to raise her two children, Vickie and Ricky. Later in Life she obtained her cosmetology license and operated a salon in Hobbs, New Mexico for years. After her retirement she returned to Cement to move closer to her grandchildren Whitney, Emily, Tyler and her son Ricky Wilkinson. Survivors include her son Ricky Wilkinson of Cement, and his fiancé Michele Yeoman of Kingfisher, OK, six grandchildren, Whitney, Emily and Tyler Wilkinson of Cement, LaChanda and Michael Bohannon of Lovington, NM, Jeremy Johnson of Norfolk, VA and Casey Johnson of Lovington, NM, great grandson Seth Bohannon, niece Irene Kelley of Claremore, OK and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Clytie Fleming, three sisters, Maxine Coffer, Jackie Chapman, Loraine Fleming, a brother Bobby Fleming and a daughter Vickie Johnson. |
