William Quincey Sain

William Q. Sain, 81 died late Wednesday evening in a Chickasha hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church, Cyril, with Rev. David Forrester, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Reese Funeral Home.

Born in Texas on June 16, 1890, Mr. Sain was a retired APCO employee and veteran of World War 1

He married Carrie Jordan on Jan. 2, 1918, in Chickasha.

He came to Cyril in 1932, accompanied by his wife, where he had resided since that time.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Oleta Houtz and Mrs Dixie Berry, both of Cyril; Mrs Lava (sic) Wilson, Dallas, Tex. and Mrs. Mary Mahan, Ardmore; three sons, John of Ninneka; William of Jacksboro, Tex., and James of Cyril; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Hall, Noble, Tex. (Noble is in Cleveland Co, OK, not Texas); 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Carrie Hillie [Jordan] Sain

Funeral for Mrs. Carrie H. Sain, 72, Cyril will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Cyril First Baptist Church. Rev. David Forrester, pastor will officiate.

Burial will be in celestial Gardens under direction of Reese Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sain died Tuesday evening in a Chickasha Hospital following an apparent heart attack.

Mrs. Sain was born March 10, 1900, in Pilot Point, Tex.

She was married to William Q. Sain on Jan. 2, 1918, in Chickasha.

The couple moved to cyril from Laverty in 1932. Mr. Sain Died Dec. 29, 1971.

Mrs. Sain was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Oleta Houtz, and Mrs. Dixie Berry, both of Cyril; Mrs. Lavada Wilson, Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Mary Mahan, Ardmore; three sons, James, Cyril; John, Ninnekah, and William, Jacksboro, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Emma Strickland, Denton, Tex.; 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

John G. "Big John" Sain

Funeral service for John G. "Big John" Sain, age 74, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 1995, in Cyril First Assembly of God Church.

He was born on Mar 9, 1921 in Laverty, Oklahoma, the son of William Quincey Sain and Carrie Hillie Jordan Sain.

John died on September 17, 1995, in Chickasha.

John was a United States Army Veteran and served during World War II. He received the American Theater Campaign Medal, the EAME Campaign Medallion with four BronzeStars and the Good Conduct Medal.

He married Elva Faye Smith on November 2, 1946, in San Marcos, TX. After their marriage, they moved to Cyril. In 1963, they moved to Ninnekah.

John worked as a pumper for the Little Nick Oil Company and also farmed.

Mr. Sain was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister, Oleta Houtz. Survivors include his wife, Elva Faye Sain, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Linda Sain of Chickasha; son and daughter-in-law, John C, and Gayla Sain of Ninnekah; two brothers, Bill Sain of Elgin and Jim Sain of Cyril; two sisters, Frances Mahan of Ardmore and Dixie Berry of Cyril; four grandchildren, Justin and Brian Sain of Broken Arrow; Jason and Sheila Sain of Chickasha; two great grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Binyon-Cyril Funeral Home.

William Austin Sain

Funeral for William "Bill" Sain, 81, Elgin, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Elgin with the Rev. Kenneth E. Hayes, pastor, Jefferson Baptist Church, Lawton, officiating.

Mr. Sain died Friday, Sept. 22, 2006, in Lawton.

Burial will be in celestial Gardens Cemetery, Cyril, under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home, Lawton.

He was born Oct. 21, 1924, in Laverty, Okla. He was the son of William Quincy and Carrie Hillie Jordan.

He grew up in Cyril and graduated in 1942 from Cyril High School.

He worked as a drilling superintendent for Tenneco Oil Field before enlisting in the Navy on June 4, 1943. While serving in the Navy, he was stationed at the USNCTC of Williamsburg, Va., with the 106th NCB. He was honorably discharged Feb. 2, 1946, from the U. S. Naval Personnel Separation Center of Norman as a machinist's mate third class.

He married the former Vivian Travette Martinez on Feb. 21, 1948, in Wichita Falls, Texas; and the couple made their home in Elgin.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elgin.

Survivors include three sons; Terry Sain and wife, Judy, Baytown, Texas, Rusty Sain and Eddie Sain, both of Elgin; four grandchildren: Whitney Sain, Dallas, Texas, Cody Sain, Boston, Mass., Shelsea, Sain, Katie, Texas, and Allison Sain, Fletcher; a sister, Dixie Berry and husband, Carlton, Cyril; and a brother, Jim Sain and Jean Sain, Cyril.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years. Vivian Sain; his parents; a brother, John Sain; an infant brother, Charles Leland Sain; and three sisters; Oleta Houtz, Frances Mahan and Lavada Wilson.

Memorials may be made to : First Baptist Mission Fund, 420 I Street, Elgin, 73538.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home in Lawton.

John Russell "Rusty" Sain

Funeral for John Russell "Rusty" Sain, 59, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, at Comanche Nation Funeral Chapel with Lay Speaker Tina Baker officiating.

Burial will follow at Celestial Gardens in Cyril under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

Mr. Sain went to his heavenly home on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, in Lawton.

Rusty was born July 11, 1955, in Perryton, Texas, to Bill and Vivian Martinez Sain. He grew up and graduated from Jacksboro, Texas. He played on the 1971 AA Texas Football Championship team. He was also selected to the Texas All State Team as a tackle. Rusty always enjoyed making others laugh and have fun. He was a member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma and Live Oak Baptist Church in Jacksboro.

He is survived by two brothers: Terry and Judy Sain, of Baytown, Texas; and Ed Sain, of Lawton; nieces: Whitney, Shelsea and Allison Sain; nephew, Cody Sain; many other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Bill and Vivian Sain; grandparents: Will and Carrie Sain and Condy and Mattie Martinez.

Imogene Irene [Pierson] Sain

Imogene Irene Sain Of Cyril, OK was born February 5, 1929 in Mountain View, OK to Ernest B. and Edith Ellen [Wall] Pierson. She passed away at her home in Cyril on December 23rd at the age of 87.

She graduated from Cyril High School. She married James Russel Sain on November 10, 1947 in Wichita Falls, TX. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2010.

Imogene dedicated her life to raising her family and taking care of their needs. When her children were young, she sewed all their clothing. She was an awesome cook and famous for her egg noodles and Cherry Delight. She loved spending time with her family, even going 4-wheeling with her son, Wes. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cyril. Imogene also never missed getting her hair done on Fridays.

She is survived by: 1 son- James Wesley Sain Cyril, OK 4 daughters- Jeanie Kay and John Brigham Wichita Falls, TX Patricia Ann and Duayne Williams Anadarko, OK Judy Lynet and Donald Dawdy Cyril, OK Tami Lynn Elrod Grand Prairie, TX 9 Grandchildren- Angie, Kevin, Kyle, Kim, Kris, Kandy, B.J., Ashley, Amanda 14 great-grandchildren 3 great-great grandchildren 2 sisters- Edith Louise and Mac Simmons Cement, OK Beverly Ann Riley Cement, OK She was preceded in death by: Her parents Her husband 1 grandson- Dalton Dawdy 3 brothers 4 sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 27th at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Temple with Pastor Kip Ackley officiating. Burial will follow in Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home.

Eddie Wayne Sain

Eddie Wayne Sain, 56, of Lawton, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016, in Lawton.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Comanche Nation Funeral Home Chapel, with Tina Baker officiating.

Burial will follow at Celestial Gardens in Cyril.

Eddie was born Oct. 4, 1959, in Jacksburo, Texas, to William and Vivian [Martinez] Sain. He grew up in Elgin spending most of his time at "The Creek." He also attended Elgin High School. Eddie worked in the oil field as a roughneck. He was a member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma. He enjoyed spending time with friends, going to the casino and helping others in need.

Eddie is survived by: two daughters: Allison Sain of Elgin; and Shelsea Sain of Houston; grandson, Sawyer Skinner of Houston; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Judy Sain of Baytown, Texas; and niece and nephew: Whitney and Cody Sain.

Eddie was preceded in death by: parents: Bill and Vivian Sain; grandparents: Will and Carrie Sain, and Condy and Mattie Martinez; and brother, Rusty Sain.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
