Tuesday, May 30, 2017 Christopher Shawn Saenz 1971 ~ 2017 Memorial services for Christopher Shawn Saenz, 45, of Oklahoma City, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Christopher Shawn Saenz was born on November 5, 1971 in Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of Lorenzo R. Saenz and Hazel Frances [Harmon] Saenz. He died on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Chris grew up in Anadarko and graduated from Anadarko High School in 1990. He then attended UT Tech in Phoenix, Arizona for a time. On February 16, 1993, he married Lora White in Chickasha, Oklahoma. They moved to New Mexico for seven years where he worked as head of maintenance for a fitness gym. They then came back to Cement, Oklahoma to be near family. They lived in Mustang for while then moved to Oklahoma City in 2002. Chris had received certification in water purification and had most recently worked as a warehouse manager for Directors, Inc. He enjoyed playing video games with his son and liked to golf, having won several golf tournaments. He always connected with his Delaware Nation heritage and had an easygoing nature and made friends all over the world, and always enjoyed learning about other cultures and dreamed of many adventures. Chris' live focus was his wife and children, they were who he loved spending time with. He was preceded in death by both parents; grandparents; an infant son, Isaiah Saenz; and brother, David Saenz. Survivors include his wife, Lora Saenz, son, Evan Joshua Saenz, and daughter, Kristianna Lorain Saenz, all of the home; brothers, Michael Saenz and Ernie Chazneau; sisters, Lisa Saenz and Diana Gomez; aunt, Marilyn Davis; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family and many friends. Cremation arrangements and interment in Cyril Cemetery will be under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. Christopher Shawn Saenz November 5, 1971 ~ May 30, 2017 |
