Saturday, February 14, 2015 Florence "Flo" [Livingston] Redden Florence "Flo" Redden, 69, of Cyril, Oklahoma was called home by the Lord on Saturday, February 14, 2015 in Duncan, Oklahoma while being surrounded by her loving family. Flo was born August 2, 1945 in Long Island, New York to Frank Earle & Henrietta Livingston. Flo married Jay Redden on October 23, 1965. After they were married they resided in New York for one year then moved to Oklahoma Flo though they had moved to H....E.... Double L! They chose Cement to raise their family. They had four children: Eddie, Stacy, Tina and Candi. Flo decided to go to college later in life and earned her Bachelor's Degree. She was employed at Wright's School until her retirement. Flo loved her family, loved spending time with family, especially her 12 grandchildren: Karissa, Ciara, Asia, Chelsea, Tori, Rya, Allen, Jayden, Kea, Ereka, Derek, and Reese. Flo had 8 great grandchildren: Payton, Keagan, Lukas, Kylan, Tatum, Kinsley, Gentry, and Myla. She was extremely proud of her family and loved to talk about her family to anyone who would listen. Flo loved spending time with Jay before he passed away. They enjoyed each others company, fishing, drinking coffee, and playing bingo. Flo was the lucky one and won a Toyota pickup one time while playing bingo. Flo loved God and loved to go to church and hear the Word of God. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Cyril. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Eddie and wife, Marcy Redden of Cyril, Stacy Tallent of Chickasha, Tina and husband, Keith Smith of Cyril, and Candi and husband, Rex Mathis of Cyril; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Earl Livingston of Florida and Richard Livingston of New York; sister, Laurie Calma of New York; and numerous nieces, nephews. Flo had a special pet "Tink" who kept her company and was very loved by her. Florence is preceded in death by her parents, Etta and Frank Livingston; husband, Jay Redden; 3 brothers: Dave Livingston, Marty Livingston, and Steve Livingston. Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Family Life Church in Cyril. Pastor Donnie Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in the Celestial Garden Cemetery in Cyril. Funeral services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma. |
