Gene Allen Raley

CEMENT - Funeral for Gene Allen Raley, 67, Cement, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Elgin, with Kris Lamle, pastor, officiating. Mr. Raley died Monday, March 10, 2008, in Chickasha. Burial will be in Celestial Gardens, Cyril, under direction of Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher.

He was born Nov. 7, 1940, in Cement, to Arnold Wade and Beulah McGinnis Raley.

He attended Cyril Schools, and worked in the oil fields until 1986 and then became a truck driver.

He married Cathlean Fike . She died in 1999.

He was a member of Cement First Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Deborah G. Koehler, Elgin; a stepson, Sam Fike , Cement; a granddaughter, Carissa K. Koehler, Elgin; a brother and his wife, Johnnie and Mary Hennessee, Fort Worth, Texas; and a sister and her husband, Mary Lou and Jim Jones, Terrell, Texas. He was preceded in death by a son, John Arthur Raley.
