Thursday, May 26, 2011 Charles Allen Price Sr Graveside service for Charles Allen Price Sr. will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Celestial Gardens in Cyril with the Rev. Charles Echols officiating. Mr. Price died of a broken heart Thursday, May 26, 2011, due to the death of his daughter, Krissy Mayall and son-in-law, Jimmy Don Mayall and granddaughter, Anna Mayall, seven weeks ago. Arrangements are under direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore. He was born Feb. 5, 1956, in Oklahoma City, to Alice and Jake Yates. He was raised most of his life in Anadarko. He married Rhonda Callahan Brown on Nov. 24, 1980. They were soul mates and loved spending time together. He enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart, where he would always run into numerous friends and relatives. He enjoyed garage sales, rodeos, truck pulls and drinking coffee with his friends at Mac's. He loved spending time with his grandkids and sitting on his front-porch swing. He was a good mechanic and an OSU fan. He worked all his adult life in the oilfield and as a blast-hole driller Survivors include his wife, Rhonda; sons: Shancy Brown and wife, Elizabeth; and Charles Price Jr. all of Cyril; daughters: Marcy Redden and husband, Eddie, and Shila Downs and husband, Michael, all of Cyril; and Linda Musick and husband, Robbie, of Chickasha; grandchildren: Blair, Blaine, Tori, Allen, Jayden, Derek, Nelson, Hunter, Kylie, Logan, Cambrie, Keila, Jarrett, Brett, Chance, Courtney and Jayle; special son, Chris Carson; sisters: Karen Marrow, Julie Largent, Joyce Bedford; brothers: Roger Price, Corky Yates, Melvin Yates and Ronnie Yates; brother-in-law and wife, Robin and Brenda Callahan; and niece, Reagan; mother-in-law, Panatha Callahan; aunt, Dana; uncles: Bob and wife Iolene; and Kent and wife, Margaret; aunt, Panzie Biggs, Velma and Norman Reser, Barbara and Gene Smith, Jimmie Marshall; and many more nieces, nephews and cousins. Also preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Ricky Yates; and sisters: Georgia and Lisa Yates. |
