© The Chickasha Express-Star Chichasha, Oklahoma Monday, 11 May 2009 ~ Wednesday, 13 May 2009 Howard Ray Neal August 14, 1943 ~ May 9, 2009 Funeral service for Howard Ray Neal, age 65, of Cyril will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday May 12, 2009 in the First Christian Church of Cyril. Howard was born on August 14, 1943 in Cyril to Albert Houston and Ethel Mae [Moss] Neal. A long time resident of Cyril, he worked in the oil field most of his life. From 1964 to 1968 he served in the Air Force as an Airman 1st Class, loading nuclear weapons. During his military service he was stationed in Thailand, Alaska, South Carolina, and Washington State. Howard enjoyed attending local softball games, the college world series and made many contributions to softball and Elgin FFA activities. He was a member of the Elks Lodge for 10 years and a member of the First Christian Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Barbara Helen Neal. Survivors include: Son and wife: Samuel Wayne and Michelle Renee Neal, Daughter and husband: Marcy K. and Joe Fourkiller, Brother and wife: Bobby H. and Barbara Neal, Brother and wife: Buddy H. and Shirley Neal, Five Grandchildren, One Great-grandchild to be born in August, 2009, Many other relatives and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Cyril or the Disabled American Veterans. Interment will be in the Celestial Gardens Cemetery in Cyril. Services are under the direction of the McRay's Cyril Funeral Home. |
