Cora Lee was born the daughter of Barney Whiteselle Blue and Liddie Elsie [Clay] Blue on April 1, 1918, in Fletcher, Oklahoma. She died on November 26, 2010, in Norman, Oklahoma. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Delores and Don Howard, Jackson, Tenn.; and Corene and Dean Miller, Norman; four sons and daughters-in-law: Gene and Gwen Moser, Norman; Whiteselle and Janice Moser, Cyril; Bobby and Pat Moser, Dublin, Ohio; and Ronny and Connie Moser, Zionsville, Ind.; 17 grandchildren and their spouses: Melinda and Nick Collins, Melanie and Ricky Davidson, Judy and Lance McReynolds, Mitch and Pam Moser, Kevin and Kim Howard, Jamie Moser, Darrin Moser, Shelly and Larry Teague, Diana and Kevin Boatwright, Gina and Rodney Morris, Scotty and Stacy Miller, J. J. and Leah Moser, Kathy and Sean Hutson, Brannon and Michelle Moser, Drew and Bekah Moser, and Travis and Annette Moser; 44 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Alfred and Imogene Blue, Navasota, Texas; and Eddie and Wanda Blue, Fletcher; and seven brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Dorothy Moser, Loretta Moser, Ann Moser, Jack and Mary Ann Moser, and Jerry and Teresa Moser. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Elsie Blue; her husband, Elwood Moser; two brothers: Clay and Joe Blue; an infant brother; an infant son; and a granddaughter, Alicia Howard. Viewing will be at McRay Funeral Home, Chickasha. The casket will also be open at noon at First Christian Church, Cyril, on Tuesday and at the conclusion of the service. Saturday, May 2, 2009 Lois Jean [Owens] Moser May 20, 1927 ~ May 2, 2009 CYRIL - Funeral for Lois Jean Moser, 81, Cyril, will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the First Christian Church of Cyril. Mrs. Moser died Saturday, May 2, 2009, in Lawton. Burial will be in the Celestial Gardens Cemetery, Cyril, under direction of McRay's Cyril Funeral Home. She was born May 20, 1927, to Maude Kundysek and Marvin Owens in Fletcher. She married Bill C. Moser on May 19, 1943. She was a homemaker most of her life, but did work part-time outside the home at various places around town, ending her employment at Cyril Drug Store at the age of 71. She was a long-time member of the First Christian Church of Cyril where she sang in the choir for many years. Survivors include her two children: Claudia Jean "Chigger" Houtz, Cyril; and Rebecca Ann Wiley, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren: Penny Callahan, Lawton; Bill Wiley, and Angela Ports, both of Oklahoma City; Casey Farmer and husband, John, Cyril; and Holly Bellamy and husband, Brent, Mountain View; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Larry Kundysek and wife, Theresa, Arlington, Texas; and Mickey Kundysek and wife Pat, Barnsdall; three sisters: Mary Beth McDaniels and husband L. G., Elgin, Judy Padgett, Okeechobee, Fla.; and Cathy Blanchard and husband Ricky , Kingston; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Tony Kundysek, her husband; and a son-in-law, Jim Wiley. |
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Thursday, February 21, 2013 Jack Earl Moser October 17, 1933 ~ February 21, 2013 Funeral service for Jack Moser, 79, Cyril, will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2012 at the First Christian Church of Cyril with Pastors McCurley and Hall, officiating. Burial will follow at the Celestial Gardens Cemetery in Cyril under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Moser passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Oklahoma City. He was 79 years, 4 months, and 4 days old. Jack Earl Moser was born October 17, 1933 in Cyril, Oklahoma to Frank and Ella [Bledsoe] Moser. He grew up in Cyril where he graduated in 1952. After high school, Jack attended Cameron University for one year and then Southwestern Oklahoma State University before working at O'Bryant Wholesale as a salesman. Jack married Mary Ann Ambrose on June 25, 1954 at the First Christian Church of Cyril where he was a lifelong member. The two were married for 58 years. Jack worked as a foreman for Caddo County for 6 years. He worked as shop foreman for Western Farmers Electric Cooperative for 20 years retiring in 1996. After retirement, Jack enjoyed going to his grandkids events whether it was ballgames or stock shows. He took over as "foreman" for the Moser Cattle Ranch and took on the role of assistant softball coach. Jack liked working in his yard and in his woodshop. He was a wonderful husband, dad, and Pa and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Moser of the home; 1 son, Trent Moser and his wife Cindy of Fletcher; 1 daughter, Julie Poteete and her husband Tim of Sterling; 1brother, Jerry "Butch" Moser and his wife Thresa of Anadarko; 2 grandchildren: Toni Meier and her husband Aaron of Germany and Jake Moser and his wife Kanita of Edmond; 1 great granddaughter and 1 great grandson; 3 sisters-in-law: Dorothy, Anne, and Loretta Moser; nephew, Shirley Perry and his wife Lorna of Cyril; niece Eva Mae Howard and her husband Vick of Marlow; and numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He is preceded in death by parents: Frank and Ella Moser; 7 brothers: Elwood, Cecil, Bob, Bill, Barney, Newt, and Hoot Moser; and 1 sister, Juanita "Sis" Perry. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations instead be made to the First Christian Church of Cyril Memorial Fund. |

She married Carl "Newt" Moser in 1954 and moved to Enterprise, AL where her first child, a son, David was born. She moved to Cyril and then Chickasha where her daughters Fonda, deceased, and Carla were born. In 1964 she moved to Duncan, OK, where she was a homemaker and active in many activities. In 1974 she moved to Lawton, and then returned to school at Cameron University after being widowed in 1982. She worked at Fort Sill National Bank until she retired after ten years of service. She enjoyed being around people and all of her friends. She is survived by her her brother, Gordon Beznoska of Oklahoma City, OK, her son, David Moser and his wife Melody, of Claremore, OK, and Carla Lansing and her husband Larry, of Denver, CO, her friend Paul Britten of Lawton, OK, her grandchildren Jon and Sonia Moser of Tulsa, OK, Brian and Heather Daugherty of Nevada, MO, Stephanie Conley and Carrie Conley, step-grandchildren Jessica Lansing, Gilbert Lansing and his wife Ashley, and Alexandria Lansing, all of Denver, CO, great grand-child Emma Daugherty of Nevada, MO, step-great-grandchild Alyscia Lansing of Denver, CO. She is preceded in death by her parents Adolph and Golda Beznoska, her husband Carl "Newt" Moser and daughter Fonda Jean Moser. Funeral services for Sondra will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 10:00 am at the First Christian Church in Cyril, OK. There will be a viewing to greet the family at Becker Funeral Home in Lawton, OK on Friday, March 16, 2007 from 5-7 pm. Services will be under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service of Kingfisher, OK. |
