Michael Wayne Kunze
Michael Wayne Kunze, 40 of Cyril, was born June 20, 1973, to Michael Warren and Kathy Sue [Johnson] Kunze in Garland, Texas. He passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, March 23, 2014, in Cyril.
Michael was raised and attended school in Anadarko and Cyril. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic at Fort Sill until declining health forced him into early retirement.
When he could, Michael still loved tinkering and fixing things. He really enjoyed working on his '66 Chevy Nova. Michael loved spending time with his family, especially his three little sisters. He attended the Family Life Church where he had rededicated his life to Jesus.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Cecil and Irene King; to whom he was especially close.
Survivors include his son, Nelson Dru Kunze of Cyril; father, Michael Warren and Rachael Kunze of Anadarko; mother Kathy Sue Blackburn of Tuttle; eight sisters, Tracey Davis and her husband, Brent of Tulsa, Melissa Cooper and her husband, Jasper of Cyril, Catherine Strickland and her husband, Troy, Christine Montgomery and Andres Sarmiento, Melanie Bare and her husband, Steven, Heaven Kunze, Trenitie Kunze and Dynasty Kunze, all of Anadarko; grandparents, Warren and Jewell Kunze of Cyril and Daisy Gardner of Lawton; uncle, Allan Kunze and his wife, Connie of Austin, Texas; special aunts, Mary Lou Gardner of Lawton and Linda Trescott and her husband, Fred of Anadarko; special nephews, Riley Hasselbander and Jacob Greer, both of Tulsa; numerous other nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends
