Henry Lee Janousek

Funeral for Henry Lee Janousek, 86, of Cyril, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cyril Church of Christ, with Noel Curry, Ronald Janousek and Doug Graham officiating.

Mr. Janousek died Monday, July 9, 2007, in Cyril. Burial will be in Celestial Gardens Cemetery under direction of McRay's Cyril Funeral Home.

He was born Oct. 24, 1920, in Fletcher, to Joseph James Janousek and Elizabeth [Culp] Janousek. He graduated from Cement High School and lived in the Cyril and Cement area most of his life. He married Louise Curry on Feb. 12, 1949, in Lawton. He entered the U.S. Army in 1941 and served during World War II. After being discharged in 1945, he returned to Cyril and worked at the Cyril Refinery. He retired in 1983 with more than 38 years of service. He was a member of Cyril Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, of Cyril; a daughter and son-in-law, Janna and George Cornelius, Carrollton, Texas; granddaughters, Samantha and Alexandria Cornelius, Carrollton; a sister and brother-in-law, Fannie and Paul Rhoads, Okmulgee; two nephews, Ronald Janousek, Lindsay, and Darryl Rhoads, Henryetta; a niece, JoAnna McGuire, Cyril; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Noel and Anna Curry, Cochise, Ariz.; and two sisters-in-law, Doris Bennett, Cyril, and Kay Curry, Fletcher.

Jessie Louise Janousek

Jessie Louise Janousek of Cyril, Oklahoma was born May 12, 1928 in Sterling, OK to James Beecher and Ginny [Barnett] Curry. She passed away in a Carrollton, TX nursing home on December 15th at the age of 86.

After Louise graduated from high school, she went to secretarial school in Wichita Falls, TX, graduating in 1947.

She married Henry Lee Janousek in 1949 in Lawton, OK He preceded her in death on July 9, 2007.

She worked for the APCO Oil Refinery in Cyril, retiring as the office manager in 1984.

She was a dedicated member of the Cyril Church of Christ for over 50 years and she enjoyed reading and sewing.

She is survived by: Her daughter and her husband-Janna and George Cornelius Carrollton, TX; 2 granddaughters-Samantha Cornelius, Alexandria Cornelius; 1 brother and his wife-Noel and Anna Curry Cochise, AZ; 12 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents; Her husband, Henry Janousek; 2 brothers- Kenneth Curry, Ronald Curry; 2 sisters- Virgie Lee Curry, Doris Bennett.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 19th at 2:00 P.M. at the Cyril Church of Christ with Pastor Doug Graham officiating.

Burial will follow at Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home.
