Ronald Alton Hunt
Funeral service for Ronald Alton Hunt, age 57 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, in the Bible Baptist Church. Rev. Kim Hayes will officiate.
Ronald was born the son of Van Alton Hunt and Betty Hayes Hunt on December 30, 1954, in Lawton. He died on February 17, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He married his one and only, Donna "Foylene" Salyer, on August 3, 1973 and became a husband and a "Daddy" that day.
Ronald had lived in this area most of his life. He worked for Arvin-Merritor for thirty-two years then for Oklahoma Department of Transportation for five years. He was saved and baptized in the Church of Christ in Lawton, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Van Alton and Betty Hunt, wife, Foylene, one son, Cole Alton Hunt, and niece, Tonja Rodgers.
Survivors include: Daughter & Husband: Brandi & Wayne Christian of Chickasha, Daughter & Husband: Ryshell & Steve Schrader of Brighton, Colorado, Son & Wife: Ronald & Stacy Hardzog of SapulpaSix Grandchildren: Joseph Hardzog, Cassie Hardzog, Carlee Schrader, Colton Christian, Ethan Christian, and Rocky Schrader, One Great Grandchild: Easton Wallace, Sister: Vanita Bunch, Three Brothers: Don, Keith, & John Wayne Hunt, Host of Nieces & Nephew that he loved dearly.
Interment will be in the Celestial Gardens Cemetery in Cyril. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
