Gloria Marie Yokesuite Haumpy

CYRIL Funeral for Gloria Marie Haumpy, 80, Cyril, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, at the Comanche Community Center with Jim Looking Glass officiating.

Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Comanche Community Center in Apache.

She went to be with the Lord Monday, March 8, 2010, in Lawton.

Burial will follow at Celestial Gardens, Cyril, under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

She was born May 11, 1929, in Cyril, to Baldwin and Blanche Looking Glass Yokesuite. She was a great-granddaughter of Chief Big LookingGlass, and a descendant of Iron Mountain, signer of Medicine Lodge Peace Treaty. Grandma Marie loved to go ride around, she loved to participate and loved going to powwows and playing handgame. She was a member of the Comanche Native American Church, the Comanche War mothers and a member and chaplain of the Comanche Princess Sorority. She was the Comanche Princess in 1946 and was a fluent Comanche Tribal speaker. Marie was a board member of NAGPRA, and she was also an adjunct instructor of the Comanche language at the Comanche Nation College. She was a proud member of the Comanche Nation.

She is survived by one daughter, Clorandia Marie Tsatoke and husband Martin of Apache; oldest granddaughter, Pamela Ann Satepauhoodle and husband Russell, Apache; other granddaughters: Dawn Renae Haden and husband, Bill, and Christie Lynn Tsatoke, all of Apache; oldest great-grandson, Cory Pierce Satepauhoodle; other great-grandsons: Tanner Lee Satepauhoodle and wife, Kaci, Manhattan,Kan.; Joshua Allen Dalman and wife Autumn; Asa Attocknie; Ricki Ray Tsatoke DeCora and Cale Morgan Tsatoke DeCora, all of Apache; great-granddaughters: Nikki RayAnn Satepauhoodle, Dusti Renae' Satepauhoodle, and Jessica Randi Mae Dalman, all of Apache; and great-great grandson, Koda Hawk Dalman, Apache.

Oldest son, Rudy Yokesuite and companion, Donna Kotay, Apache; oldest grandson, Ricky Dale Yokesuite, Apache; great-granddaughters: Shanel Yokesuite, Kiara Yokesuite, Paige Yokesuite, Kelsey Yokesuite, and Sherrill Yokesuite; great-grandson, Taylor Yokesuite; and great-great-great-grandson, Deacon Muse, Apache.

Second son, Donnell Heminokeky, Oklahoma City; granddaughters: Dale Rhea Heminokeky; TuttieBlanche Heminokeky, Delores Marie Heminokeky, Yukon; and Jennifer Herrera, Anadarko; grandsons and their wives: Donovan Doyle Heminokeky and Angela, Fort Worth, Texas; and Donahue Conan Heminokeky and Jennifer, of Norman; great-grandsons: John and Lordin Heminokeky, of Apache; great-granddaughter, Delilah Sandoval; great-grandson, Logan Sandoval, Yukon; great-grandson, Erin Dekel Heminokeky, Fort Worth.

Third son: Glen Heminokeky Sr. and wife Mary, Apache; granddaughter, Frances Ann Heminokeky, Apache; grandson, Glen Allen Heminokeky, Lawton; granddaughter, Nina Lynn Heminokeky, Lawton; grandsons: Glen Heminokeky Jr., and Quinn Heminokeky, both of Apache; great-grandson, Allen Thomas Heminokeky; great-granddaughter, Meleena Bohay, Lawton; great-grandson, Robin Bohay, Lawton; other grandchildren: David, Teala, Victoria, Uriah, Richanda Banderas, all of Apache; and great-great-granddaughter, Mercedes Banderas, Apache. Fourth son, Lloyd Heminokeky Jr. and wife Karen, of Cyril; granddaughter, JoNeal Jocko and husband Derek, Ottowa, Ontario; great-grandson, Bruce Paul Jocko, Ottowa, Ontario; granddaughter, O'neda Heminokeky, Fort Cobb; granddaughter, Jamie Prairiechief and husband, Adrian, of Fort Cobb; great-grandson, Jordan Bryce Prairiechief, Fort Cobb; granddaughter, Llori Goombi and husband John, of Anadarko; great-grandson, J.D. and Hayden Blayne Goombi, Anadarko; great-granddaughter, Khloe Celeste Goombi, Anadarko; granddaughter, Stacey Heminokeky and companion Keith Gayton, Fort Cobb; great-grandson, Blake Addison Heminokeky-Gayton, Fort Cobb.

Fifth son, Larry Wayne Heminokeky and wife Bonnie; grandson, Joey Wayne Heminokeky and wife Kindra, and great-grandson, Tatum Quinn Heminokeky, all of Shawnee; grandsons: Larry Heminokeky Jr., and Rudolph Heminokeky, both of Shawnee; and granddaughter, Leeandra Sue Heminokeky, Shawnee.

Youngest son, Gregory Haumpy Jr. and wife Jena, of Lawton; granddaughter, Dorothy Haumpy Portillo, Apache; great-grandsons: Anthony James Haumpy Portillo and Christopher Haumpy Portillo; great-granddaughters: Makaela Haumpy Portillo, and Leah Marie Marcia Haumpy Portillo, Apache; grandson, Eric Haumpy and wife Kelly, of Lawton; great-grandson, Christian Haumpy, Lawton; grandsons: Eli Jones, Gregory Haumpy III, Nicholas Haumpy, Lawton; granddaughters: Breanna Haumpy, Shaquilla Haumpy, and Winnifred Haumpy, all of Lawton; great-granddaughter, Evellynn Haumpy, Lawton; two nieces: Donise Kawaykla, and Donna Kawaykla, of Apache; three cousins: Theodore Niedo, Cache; Laura Lawson and Lans Saupitty, Cyril; one adopted brother, Bernard Kahrahrah and wife Carol, of Geronimo; adopted sons: Arthur Tommy Johnson and wife Anita, of Elgin; George Valliere, Claremore; and Eric Lassiter, Charleston, W.Va.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Blanche and Baldwin Yokesuite; her husband, Greg Haumpy Sr.; a sister, Delores Kawaykla; grandparents, Laura and Bayard LookingGlass; and great-grandson, Rusty Ray Satepauhoodle.

Shaquilla "Skie" [Martinez] Haumpy

Shaquilla "Skie" Martinez Haumpy was called home Thursday, June 22, 2017.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2017, at Watchetaker Hall, Comanche Nation Complex, with Minister Gwen Hapa and Minister Larriel Tawkoyty officiating.

Burial will follow at Celestial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

Wake service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Watchetaker Hall.

Key was born March 8, 1993, in Poplar Mont., to Gregory Haumpy Jr. and Jena Jones. Shaquilla loved to visit and made many friends. She loved to laugh and joke and tease around. Key was a very hard worker, always working to take care of herself and her babies. She graduated from Lawton High School. She was recently enrolled in cosmetology at Eve's College. She was a member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma, and she was a Jingle Dress and Fancy Shawl dancer and attended many Powwows. Shaquilla loved to visit and made many friends. Key was close to her sister Brebre, and even though they had their sister disagreements they still loved one another. Key made many friends throughout her life time while she was alive and will truly be missed. She also loved to cruise around and jam out, just chilling with family, friends, and loved to write songs and draw.

"Rest high baby, I love you and you will always be in our hearts. Will miss your goofiness and silliness until we meet again."

She is survived by her mother, Jena [Gary] Jones-Lonebear of Poplar, Mont.; five children: Layla Martinez-Davis, A'Alayah Martinez, Lylah Martinez, Jerry Jones Jr. and Ashyla Skie Jones; father, Gregory Haumpy Jr. of Poplar, Mont.; godfather, Gino [Chrissy] Martinez of Pueblo, Colo.; adopted mother, Julia Mantzke of Lawton; sisters: Dorothy Haumpy and Breanna Martinez, both of Lawton; Winnfred Haumpy of Poplar, Mont.; adopted sister, Ashley Clayborn Plant; brothers: Eric Haumpy of Lawton, Eli Jones of Brockton, Mont., Gregory Pawtyle Haumpy III, and Nicholas Haumpy, both of Poplar, Mont. She was also survived by stepbrother, Austin Gonzales, stepsister, Jelina Gonzales; cousins: Christin, Christopher, Keyoni, Analisia, Danny, Steven, Riley, Jessica, Tiffany, Nathan, Leonel, Raul, Edward, Brenden Miranda, (one of her favorite cousins), El Wade Rush, Glenn Heminokeky Jr., Frances McCarthy, Nina, Glen-Allen Heminokeky, Natalie and Mia Red Eagle; nieces and nephews: Christian Haumpy, Anthony, Leah, Christopher and Makaela Portillo, Schuyler Garrison, and Lazarus Garrison; uncles: Ralph Jones III, Rafa [Uncle Rocko], Wayan and Randon Bear, Conrad White, Eddie Martinez, Ben Martinez, Orlando Martinez, Larry Beston, Delwayne First, Shawn Kaiser and Jason Kaiser; aunts: India Jones, Terry Martinez and Caroline Martinez, Denise [Curtis] Fast Horse, Althea Chopper, Prisiilla Carpenter, Nanette Davis, Shaylane Crazy Bull, Becky Bird, Angie Tocie, Angela Beston, Sherri DeMarrias and Kay Jones; grandmas: Maria Martinez, Flora Hapa, Qwen Hapa, Merle Hapa, Francis [John] Boyd, Pauline Boxer, Ethelene White Hawk, Lois Longtree and Gloria Diserly, Anita [Ron] Kaiser, Jennifer Weil, and Kay [Thomas] Jones; grandpas: Raymond Hapa, Arlie Diserly and Victor Fast Horse; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Ralph Jones Jr. and Winona Vivian Hapa/Jones; and grandparents: Gregory and Gloria Marie Haumpy Sr.
