Saturday, January 30, 2010 Paula Lynn [Savage] Fleetwood February 18, 1971 ~ January 30, 2010 Paula Lynn Fleetwood passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at her home west of Duncan. Services held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 4, at New Hope Baptist Church West, with Dow Pannell and David Spangler officiating. Burial is in the Cyril Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow. Paula attended school and lived in the Duncan area all of her life. Paula married Timmy Fleetwood on Sept. 2, 1986 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She worked as a secretary for Tobey Baldwin. Paula was a member of Fair Baptist Church and attended Ray of Hope Church. Paula was a very special and unique person. She always put her whole heart into everything she did, it was especially apparent when it came to her family and friends. People felt welcome when they came to her home. No matter what time, day or night, her door was always open. Her friends and family knew that if something needed to be done, she was the one to turn to. Her tenacity and perseverance is what made her the stable "rock" in our lives. She was an active member in the Empire Community. If there was an event, you could bet on it that she would be there, whether she was cheering in the stands or pulling up her sleeves doing the dirty work. Although her time here on Earth was short, we will still cherish the times we had with her. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. She will forever be in our hearts and we will strive to be half as strong as she was. We will love you forever and we will see you again. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Halee Lynn Fleetwood and many loved ones. Pallbearers: Mike Roberson, Clark Roberts, Barri McCauley, Toney Mitchell, Jeff Jones, Tobey Baldwin. |
