Funeral service for William Ervin Downs, 81, of Cyril, Okla., will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, in the Full Gospel Church of Cyril. Rev. Donnie Miller will officiate.
William Ervin Downs was born April 15, 1923, in Baldwyn, Miss., and died on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, in Norman, Okla.
Burial will be in Celestial Gardens Cemetery, Cyril, under the direction of McRay's Cyril Funeral Home.

Catalina [Garcia] Downs
Catalina Garcia Downs of Cyril, Oklahoma was born August 5, 1940 in Huanimaro, Guanajuato to Anacleto and Lugarda [Blanco] Garcia. She passed away May 13th in Lawton, OK at the age of 73.
Catalina worked in California as a housekeeper where she met her husband through his family. She married William Ervin Downs on October 24, 1970 in Winterhaven, CA. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2004.
They moved to Cyril where she made her home, enjoying sewing, cooking and gardening. She liked to walk and go fishing. Catalina was always helping people whenever she could. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by: 2 sons - Michael Downs and his girlfriend, Patsy Mahan Cyril, OK, Bobby and wife, Heather Downs Cyril, OK, 5 grandchildren - Brittany Downs, Hunter Downs, Kylie Downs, Tyler Row, Gabby Row, 2 brothers - Jesus and wife, Lupe Garcia California, Dwayne Garcia California, 1 sister - Margarita Garcia Beloit, WI.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Her husband, 5 brothers, 1 sister.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 17th at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Echols officiating. Burial will follow at Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers are: Stevie Cooper Jayden Redden, Sammy Cooper David Camaro, Jr., Brian Moorehead Randy Russow.
Honorary pallbearers are: Gloria Camaro, Noreen Cooper.
