Saturday, June 28, 2014 Robert Gene Day Graveside service for Robert Day, 43, of Cyril will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Celestial Gardens Cemetery in Cyril with Pastor Donnie Miller, officiating. Services are being directed by the Fletcher Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Day passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. He was 43 years old. Robert Gene Day was born December 9, 1970 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Michael and Martha [Ott] Day. He graduated from Cement High School in 1989. Robert was employed as an oilfield worker, wildfire/forest fire fighter, and currently at Komat'su in Dallas, Texas. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and two sons and listening to music. He leaves behind his sons: William Robert Day and Cash Gene Day; his mother, Martha Day, of Cyril; his father, Michael Day and Tammy of Cement; 3 sisters: Tammy Michelle Day of Dallas, Jennifer Marie Gurtz of Oklahoma City, and Jessica Day of Houston; 1 uncle, Jim Ott, of Houston; 2 aunts: Connie Yandell of Cement and Bobbie Pierce of Kingston; 1 niece; 1 nephew; numerous cousins and friends. |
