Aloah Clorene Dennis Carlson
January 29, 1930 ~ February 13, 2014


Funeral service for Aloah Clorene Carlson, 84, of Cyril will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at First Christian Church of Cyril with Reverend Delbert McCurley officiating. Burial will follow at the Celestial Gardens in Cyril under the direction of Fletcher Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 8 p.m., Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home in Fletcher.

Mrs. Carlson passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 in Chickasha, OK. She was 84 years old.

Aloah [Dennis] Carlson was born January 29, 1930 in Cyril, Oklahoma to Archie and Mary Waldo Dennis. She lived in Cyril her entire life. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She married Frank Wilson February 28, 1953; they had 3 sons: Mitchel, Mike, and Monty. She married John Carlson on March 28, 1970.

She is survived by her 3 sons: Michel Wilson and daughter in law, Tami of Cyril, Mike Wilson of Duncan, and Monty Wilson and daughter in law Belen of Orange, CA; 7 grandchildren: Jayson and Mandi, Kirah, Kody, Andrea, Kieran, Emme, and Blaise Wilson; and 5 great grandchildren: Kayden, Kyanna, Katlynn, Kase, and Kyler Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Wilson and John Carlson; her parents, Archie and Mary Dennis; and 1 brother, Dale Dennis.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local Little League or the First Christian Church of Cyril.

Cheryl Darlene [Schneberger] Carlson
February 23, 1948 ~ January 17, 2009


CYRIL - Funeral for Cheryl Darlene Carlson, 60, Cyril, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the First Christian Church of Cyril with the Rev. Jerry Black officiating and the Rev. Dick Cayton assisting.

Mrs. Carlson died Saturday, January 17, 2009, in Oklahoma City.

Burial will be in the Celestial Gardens Cementer under direction of McRay's Cyril Funeral Home.

She was born to Floyd and Eva [Moss] Schneberger February 23, 1948, in Cyril. She grew up and lived in Cyril her whole life.

She graduated from Cyril High School. She married John Carlson September 14, 1968, in Cyril.

She worked as a secretary in the Civil Service at Fort Sill for 30 years and then worked as secretary at Cyril Elementary School for five years.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Cyril and was active on the church board.

Survivors include her mother, of Cyril; her husband, of the home; sons and daughters-in-law: Travis and LeeAnn Carlson and Ty and Jennifer Carlson, all of Cyril; daughter and son-in-law, Teri [Carlson] and Mike Williams, Edmond; grandchildren: Rachyl, Jaxom, Kole, Averi and Emery; brothers and sisters-in-law: Lowell and Linda Schneberger, Blanchard; Larry and Betty Schneberger, Cyril.
