Merle G. Barnes
CYRIL Memorial service for Merle G. Barnes, 89, Cyril,will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Cyril United Methodist Church.
Mr. passed away April 6, 2018.
Private interment will be at Celestial Gardens Cemetery, Cyril under direction of Fletcher Funeral Home, Fletcher.
Merle was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and grandson. He married Berniece Hill on April 12, 1946. He loved his family and inspired his children. He could always be counted on for his wisdom, fairness and leadership. He was strong in faith and character. He faithfully served his church for decades and on the Cyril School Board of Education for many years. Merle retired in 1988 after 27 years of civil service at Fort Sill.
He is survived by children: daughter, Merlene Orme and son-in-law, Anthony Orme; son-in-law, Fred Hacker; daughter, Nita Warren and son-in-law, Randy Warren; son, Tom Barnes and daughter-in-law Laura Barnes; daughter, Kayla Davis and son-in-law Tony Davis; grandchildren: Shawn Orme and Rachel; Shannon Graham and Chris; Scott Orme and Aparna; Shane Hacker and Shelley; Tiffany Rackley and Cory; Tari Chaddrick and Thad; Tyler Warren and Nicole; Trey Warren and Ryann; Sarah Barnes; Kaitlin Davis; great-grandchildren: Cole Harlow, Noah Orme, Zoya Orme, Saira Orme, Baylee Chaddrick, Ty Chaddrick, Kamryn Rackley, Kason Rackley, Gavin Hacker and Wyatt Warren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Berniece; daughter, Charolette Barnes Hacker; his parents and grandparents.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the funeral home.

Berniece Navada [Hill] Barnes
A memorial service in celebration of the life of Berniece [Hill] Barnes of Cyril, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2016, at the Cyril United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 3, 2016, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., at the Fletcher Funeral Home; Fletcher, Oklahoma. Berniece passed away at the age of 89 on December 30, 2015. Private interment will be at Celestial Gardens Cemetery, Cyril, Oklahoma.
Berniece was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She served her church in many capacities for decades and volunteered in the Cyril community and schools. She gave endless joy to her husband and family. Her smile, laughter, generous heart and sense of humor brought warmth and love to all who were blessed to know her.
Berniece is survived by her husband of 70 years, Merle Barnes; Children: daughter, Merlene Orme and son-in-law, Anthony Orme; son-in-law, Fred Hacker; daughter, Nita Warren and son-in-law, Randy Warren; son, Tom Barnes and daughter-in-law, Laura Barnes; daughter, Kayla Davis and son-in-law Tony Davis; Grandchildren: Shawn Orme and Rachel; Shannon Graham and Chris; Scott Orme and Aparna; Shane Hacker and Shelley; Tiffany Rackley and Cory; Tari Chaddrick and Thad; Tyler Warren and Nicole; Trey Warren and Ryann; Sarah Barnes; Kaitlin Davis; Great-grandchildren: Cole Harlow, Noah Orme, Zoya Orme, Baylee Chaddrick, Ty Chaddrick, Kamryn Rackley, Kason Rackley, Gavin Hacker, Wyatt Warren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hurbert Hill and Lillie Stamper, and one daughter, Charolette Barnes Hacker.

Funeral service for Frances E. Barnes, 62, of Cyril, was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in the First Baptist Church of Cyril.
Frances E. Barnes was born on Feb. 27, 1939, in Cyril. She died on May 26, 2001, in Cyril.
Burial was in the Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the McRay's Cyril Funeral Home.
