Imogene Louise [Cribbs] Ackley

Imogene Louise Ackley Of Cyril, Oklahoma Was born June 28, 1925 southwest of Cyril to Clint and Carrie [Duff] Cribbs. She passed away October 4th in Lawton at the age of 89.

She graduated from Cyril High school and married Acel Ackley on October 13, 1946 in Cyril. She loved taking care of her family. She served as a class parent when her children were in school. She was involved with school activities and faithfully attended her kids' and grandchildren's games.

Imogene was a charter member of Calvary Temple and was a faithful worker in her church.

She is survived by: Her husband, Acel, of the home 1 daughter- Becky Thompson Cyril, OK 1 son and his wife- Kip and Paula Ackley Cyril, OK 4 grandchildren- Tara and husband, Tanner Allen; Jonathan and wife, Lauren Ackley; Brandon Thompson, Brigette Thompson 2 great-grandchildren- Makenzie Allen, Bryson Allen 1 brother- Haskell Cribbs Cyril, OK 5 sisters- Virginia Edwards Chickasha, OK Joan Edwards Cyril, OK Janice and husband, Doug Wells Lawton, OK Patricia and husband, Doug Sikes Chickasha, OK Joyce Nichols Farmington, NM She was preceded in death by: Her parents 1 brother- Winright Cribbs 1 sister-Darlene Patterson 1 son-in-law-Russell Thompson.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 6th at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Temple with Pastor Kip Ackley officiating and assisted by Reverend Ralph Davis. Burial will follow in Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be members of her family: Tanner Allen LaVoyd Davis Brent Edwards Jonathan Ackley Duffy Cribbs Brandon Thompson.
