Express~Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Tuesday, July 5, 2005 John Robert Wade Funeral services for John Robert Wade, 61, of Chickasha, OK will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2005 in the United Methodist Church of Cement,OK. John Robert Wade was born July 13, 1943 in Comanche, Oklahoma. He was the son of Neal James and Margaret Elizabeth (Baldwin) Wade. He died Friday, July 1, 2005 in Chickasha. Mr. Wade served in the U.S. Army Reserve. Mr. Wade had worked for OK Tire and Supply at Decatur, Alabama and owned and operated McGlocklin and Wade Service. He returned to Chickasha in 1978. He had worked for Brandts', Ken's Pizza and had worked in the oil field. He retired from Mobil Oil County. He was an avid football fan and cheered on his Chickasha Chicks and OU Sooners as often as he could. He was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother, Neal Wade, Jr. Survivors include, one daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Punches and her husband, Alan, of Presque Island, Maine; one son, Lowell "Beau" Wade and his wife, Paula, of Oklahoma City; one brother, Jim Wade of Chickasha, Oklahoma; his sister-in-law, Neva Wade of Tyler Texas; four grandchildren, Christopher, Dustin and Andrew Punches and Nathan Wade. Interment will be in the Cement Cemetery, Cement, Oklahoma, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
