Tulsa, Oklahoma December 2015 Gary Roland Stewart May 30, 1953 ~ Dec 6, 2015 Gary Roland Stewart Of Cement, Oklahoma Was born May 30, 1953 in Pecos, TX to Roland and Doris Joy [Welch] Stewart. He passed away December 6th in Tulsa at the age of 62. Gary graduated from high school and was married to Kathy Chaney in Wichita Falls, TX, they had three children together. Gary was a "jack of all trades" type of man. He could do electrical, or carpentry work. He could work on any kind of engine and get it to running. He was skilled at carving and painting, even painting a mural on a building in Cement at one time. He loved the mountains of Colorado, and even earned the nickname “Yoyo” because he would travel back and forth between Oklahoma and Colorado so often. Gary loved to play the guitar and sing. He was also a gifted storyteller, telling stories from his imagination that would make people laugh or keep them in suspense. Gary in survived by: His companion - Cheri Squyres Cement 1 daughter and her husband - Crystal and Michael Reed Cyril 2 sons - Jeff and wife, Lindsey Stewart Cyril Brian Stewart Cyril 5 grandchildren - Paris Reed, Genna Reed, Ty Reed, Justin Wiersema and Lennox Stewart 1 Brother - Timmy and wife, Jana Stewart Rush Springs, OK 2 Sisters - Brenda Turner Cement Gayla and husband, Jason Robinette Jay, OK. He was preceded in death by: His parents 1 brother - Jimmy Stewart 1 sister - Marsha Brummer. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 10th at 10:00 A.M. at the Assembly of God Church in Cyril with Pastor Randy Cocheran officiating and assisted by Pastor Donnie Miller. Burial will follow at the Cement Cemetery under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home. |
Cement, Oklahoma September 2017 Katherine Ann [Chaney] Stewart February 23, 1960 ~ September 12, 2017 Katherine Ann Stewart Of Cement, OK Was born February 23, 1960 in Cyril, OK to Clifford Lloyd and Shirley May [Williams] Chaney. She passed away at her home in Cement on September 12, 2017 at the age of 57. Kathy graduated from high school and attended college before going to work at Wal-Mart. She was married to Gary Stewart and together, they had three children. Kathy worked her way up at Wal-Mart until she had become a support manager. She was employed at the Wal-Mart in Chickasha until her illness prevented her from continuing, but she had remained determined to return to work. Kathy enjoyed reading and doing puzzle books as well as playing games. She also took occasional road trips. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She is survived by: 1 daughter and her husband - Crystal and Mike Reed Cyril 2 sons- Jeff, and wife, Lindsay Stewart Cyril Brian Stewart Cyril 5 grandchildren - Paris Reed, Genna Reed, Ty Reed, Justin Wiersema, Lennox Stewart Her mother - Shirley Chaney Cyril 1 brother and his wife - Jimmy and Roberta Chaney Cement 2 sisters - Susan Avery Cement Linda and husband, Jim Raulerson Killeen, TX. She was preceded in death by: Her father, Cliff Chaney, 1 nephew - Clifford Chaney 1 niece - Jennifer Chaney. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 15th at 2:00 P.M. at the Assembly of God Church in Cyril with Pastor Randy Cocheran officiating. Burial will follow in Cement Cemetery under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home. |
