© The Chickasha Daily Express Chickasha, Oklahoma Monday, March 27, 1972 Alfred Carl McLaughlin Funeral service for A. C. McLaughlin, 87, 1417 Idaho, Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday in the chapel of Brown's Funeral Home with Garland McWatters, pastor of the 16th and Florida Church of Christ, officiating. Mr. McLaughlin was a retired farmer. He came to this area in 1951 from Minco. He was born May 19, 1886, in Stephensville, Tex. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie, in August 1966. He died Saturday at the Shannon Springs Residence. Survivors include one son, Oren, of Trinidad, Calif.; six daughters, Mrs. Iva Rhodes of Rush Springs, Mrs. Pearl Reed of Roswell, N. M., Mrs. Oleta Miller of Anadarko, Mrs. Cleo Long of Camp Verde, Ariz., Mrs. Faye Robertson of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Alemidea Slover of Farmersville, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Opal Cabler of Norman, Mrs. Viola Johnson of Vernon, Tex.; 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Cement IOOF Cemetery, under the direction of Brown's Funeral Home. |
