Dorothy Jean [Payne] Lankister

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Cement High School Auditorium with Rev. John Zwolle, Pastor of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Cement, officiating.

Mrs. Lankister died Thursday, December 23, 2009 in Oklahoma City.

Burial will be in the Cement Cemetery, Cement, under the direction of Becker Cement Chapel, formerly Robbins Cement Chapel.

She was born on November 11, 1947 in Searcy, Arkansas to Deward Eugene and Vera [Hope] Payne.

She married Phillip S. Lankister in Cement on May 24, 1968.

Mrs. Lankister was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Cement.

She was employed at the Gas & Go in Cement. She loved being around people of all ages. She truly had a servant's heart.

She is survived by her husband of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Wendi Lankister of Glenrock, Wyoming, Brent and Margie Lankister of Cyril, and Dennis and Brenda Lankister of Chickasha; nine grandchildren, Austin, Clara, Hannah, Dawson, Denee, Faye, Samuel, Josey and Gunner; two brothers, James Payne of Altus and Ernie Payne of Pinellas Park, Florida; and a sister, Sharon Page of Chickasha.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
