Hazel Ruth [Clift] Johnson

SAN ANTONIO Funeral for former Cement resident Hazel Ruth Johnson, 95, San Antonio, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher Chapel with Donnie Miller, pastor, Full Gospel Holiness Church, Cyril, officiating.

Mrs. Johnson died Monday, April 20, 2009, in San Antonio.

Burial will be in Cement Cemetery.

She was born April 24, 1913, in Cement, to Clarence and Myrtle Clift. She was married to George A. Johnson for more 50 years, and lived in Corpus Christi, Texas, for most of her life. She and her husband traveled the world.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Georgia and Mickey Shuford, Corpus Christi, Texas; a son, Ronald Johnson, Corpus Christi; six grandchildren including Dana Shuford; many great-grandchildren including Melanie Moreland; two sisters: Pauline Morris, Cyril; and Wilma Acton, Lawton; two brothers: Glen and Donnie Clift, both of Lexington; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters: Wanda and Bertha Jo; a sister-in-law, Vicki Johnson; her parents; brothers, sisters, family and friends.

Dorothy Nell [Sites] Johnson

Funeral services for Dorthy Nell Johnson, 80, of Cement will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2009, in the United Methodist Church in Cement Oklahoma.

Dorthy Nell Johnson, daughter of Omar and Octa Sites was born January 30, 1929 in North Baltimore Ohio. She died August 30, 2009, in Oklahoma City.

She moved to Cement in the third grade and was a life long member of the Methodist Church.

Dorthy married Rupert Johnson on September 13, 1947. They made their home in Chickasha where she raised her family and worked for many years at Chapman's Grocery Store.

In later years she enjoyed creating ceramics and playing cards.

She is survived by her husband, Rupert of the home; three children: Linda and husband Tommy Delk of Ninnekah, Gayle and husband David Howard of Chickasha, Arnold and wife Jackie Johnson of Chickasha; seven grandchildren: Shawn and wife Shannon Delk, Tisha and husband Danny Shubert, Michael Heskett, Dianna and husband Rick Gates, Danny Heskett, Duff and wife Tanya Snow and Dirk Snow. Dorthy had nineteen great grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren; three sisters: Joann Chaney, Nona Hale, Lynn and husband Buddy Charleson; two brothers: Harry and wife Peggy Sites, and Omar and wife Carol Sites; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in the Cement Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Deanna Jo [Reynolds] Johnson

Graveside service for Deanna Jo [Reynolds] Johnson, 73, of Cyril, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at the Cement Cemetery with Brother Raymond McPherson, officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral Home. Arrangements are being handled by the Fletcher Funeral Home.


Mrs. Johnson passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016, in Anadarko, Oklahoma at the age of 73.


Deanna Jo [Reynolds] Johnson was born May 9, 1943 in Oakland, California to Elmer and Helen [Davis] Reynolds. She attended Chickasha High School. After high school, Deanna moved to Rockford, Illinois where she met and later married JB Johnson. The two were blessed with 2 sons. While in Rockford, Deanna worked as a caregiver. In 2000, she moved to Cyril to care for her parents. She enjoyed being on the computer, playing with her dogs, and playing slot machines.


She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Johnson, of Tulsa; 1 granddaughter, Tara Doane and her husband Scotty, of Mounds; 4 great grandchildren: Tyler and Caleb Rainwater, Braden Anderson, and Lane Doane; 3 nieces: Talaina Willis, of Norman, and Alex and Lydia Jones, both of Chickasha; and 1 nephew, Lonnie Jones, of Chickasha.


She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Helen and Curtis Ely; her father, Elmer Reynolds; 1 son, Curtis Leonard Johnson; 1 infant daughter, Gwenlyn Renee Johnson; 1 sister, Tressa Ann Wright; and 1 niece, Vicki Jo Jones.
