© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Wednesday, June 20, 2007 Dorothy [Dean] Sconyers Igo Funeral service for Dorothy Igo, 93, Cement, will be at 11:00 am Friday in the First Baptist Church, Cement. She passed away June 19, 2007 at Lexington Nursing Home, Lexington, Ok, where she had resided the past six years. Burial will be in the Cement Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Cement Chapel, formerly Robbins Funeral Home. The Family will greet friends Thursday evening at the Becker Cement Chapel from 5pm until 7pm. Dorothy was born March 20, 1914 south of Anadarko to John Walter and Carrie [Gibson] Dean, the oldest of seven children. Dorothy grew up north of Cement and attended school in Cement. Dorothy married Roy Sconyers in February 1935 at Cyril. In August 1958 she married Doyle Igo. She spent most of her life in Cement where she worked as City Clerk, at Lefty's Grocery, Spears Insurance, Bell Telephone Company, Dean's Grocery and was church clerk at First Baptist Church where she is still a member. She is survived by three daughters and son-in-laws: Jacquita and Freeman Roberts, Lawton, Ok; Rebecca and Don Clift, Lexington, OK; Rowanna and Dale Hargus, Purcell, OK; Seven grandsons and their wives, George and Kathi Clift, Donald and Jana Clift, Roger and Brenda Clift, Mark and Gina Clift, Freddy and Lee Roberts, Dale and Lorie Hargus, and Bryan and Dana Hargus; four granddaughters and their husbands, Patty and Oscar Codopony, Freda and Robert Bishop, Darla and Richard McCauley and Pam and Mike Moorehouse; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Elmer Dean, Walworth, WI; a sister-in-law Margaret Dean, Burleson, TX and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, three brothers, two sisters, a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
