Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, November 16, 1949 Ida Fronia [Lane] Duncan Mrs. Ida Duncan Dies at Son's Home North of Alfalfa ALFALFA: Nov. 16.--Mrs. Ida Duncan, 76, died Tuesday morning at the home of her son, O.Z. Duncan, four miles north of Alfalfa. Mrs. Duncan fell in the kitchen several days ago, but examination showed no broken bones. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Assembly of God church in Cement with Rev. J.C. Earl preaching the sermon. Arrangements are in charge of the Brown funeral home, Chickasha. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Cement. Mrs. Duncan was born July 28, 1873, in Tennessee. She had lived near Cement since 1910. Mr. Duncan died in 1941. She was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. H.M. Mayer, Chickasha, and three sons, George of Fletcher, Ersel of Ontario, Canada, and O.A. of Alfalfa. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. |
