© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Monday, December 12, 2003 Lorine Valerie [Day] Cochran Graveside services for former Cement resident Lorine V. [Day] Cochran, 84, Midwest City, will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Cement Cemetery with Rev. Raymond McPherson, Cement, officiating. Mrs. Cochran died Saturday in a Midwest City Hospital following a lengthy illness. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker Cement Chapel, Cement, Oklahoma, formerly Robbins. She was born March 31, 1921 in Cement to William Samuel and Mary Ellen [Lawson] Day. She was raised in Cement and had attended Cement Public Schools. She retired from Civil Service at Tinker Air Force Base in 1982 after 30 years of service. She was an avid lover of sports, especially the Oklahoma Sooners. Survivors include 2 children: Betty Vannoy of Del City, OK and Danny Cochran and his wife Carol of Oklahoma City, OK. Brother: Robert Day of Norman, OK. 4 Granddaughters: Sherri Vannoy of Dallas, TX, Cari and husband Kevin Kelley, Cameron Kelley, Shelby Duran, Kasey Duran and Lindsey Duran. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: Parents, 9 brothers and 6 sisters.
