Geraldine Rosella [Parker] Weryavah
September 23, 1920 ~ January 20, 2016


Geraldine Rosella Parker Weryavah, 95, Lawton, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, in Lawton.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2016, at the Comanche Community Center in Apache with Tina Baker and the Rev. Freddie Ticeahkie officiating.

Burial will follow at West Cache Creek KCA Cemetery, west of Apache, under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

Prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2016, at the funeral home chapel. Geraldine was born September 23, 1920, in Comanche County to Len Nehio Parker and Bertie Asewaynah Fisher Parker.

She attended Fort Sill Indian School and graduated from Chilocco Indian School.

Geraldine went to Dallas to work as a nanny for several years.

Geraldine married Andrew Bert Weryavah in Wichita Falls, Texas. They made their home in Apache; they then moved to Lawton and raised their family.

Geraldine was a member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma and Hunting Horse United Methodist Church.

Geraldine was a paternal granddaughter of Quanah Parker and Aerwuthtakeum; and maternal granddaughter of Kachacha and Rudolph Fisher.

She enjoyed needlework, word seek puzzles, and watching TV. She loved watching OKC Thunder, OU Sooners, Dallas Cowboys and soap operas.

She is survived by four children: Phyllis White of Apache; Dana Weryavah, JoNeda Sage and Bert Weryavah, all of Lawton; grandchildren: Robert, Randall, Rodney, Kellen, Bryan, Alisha, Bobby, Louie, Andrew, Ariel and Brooke; 25 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; brother, Leonard Parker of Anadarko, sister-in-law, Maudine Saupitty; and numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew Bert Weryavah; sisters: Cynthia, Vera, Iona and Esther Parker; brothers: Jerome, Harold and Franklin Parker; her paternal grandparents: Quanah Parker and Aerwuthtakeum and maternal grandparents: Kachacha and Rudolph Fisher.

Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel.

Andrew Blaine Weryavah
July 26, 1983 ~ February 6, 2021


Andrew Blaine Weryavah was a truly one of a kind father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and friend. He left this world suddenly to return to his heavenly home on Saturday February 6, 2021 at the age of 37.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, February 12, 2021 at Cache Creek KCA Cemetery west of Apache. Services are under the direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Andrew was born on July 26, 1983 to Bert Weryavah and Sandra Hester in Lawton.

He was a proud member of the Comanche tribe.

Andrew graduated Eisenhower High School in 2002 he also attended vocational college with a degree in information technology. He went on to open a construction company with his father. He loved to supervise his crew.

If you knew Andrew you knew he liked to be his own boss, he also loved his dog Baby Girl.

Andrew had a passion for playing baseball, he pitched for the Eisenhower Eagles and he also played quarterback in high school for the football team. He always loved to watch his nieces and nephews carry on his love for the game. Andrew was a proud OU fan and also loved his Patriots. His love for the game will continue and will always be remembered by the family.

Andrew leaves behind his daughter Kayla and his son Riley; his father Bert Weryavah and companion Marilyn Guerrero; his mother Sandra Hester; his sisters: Ariel Hazard and Brooke Weryavah; his stepbrother, Dusty Pahdocony; his nieces and nephews: Cameron, Alize, Joshua, Gradyn and Nichole. His grandmother Joyce Hester and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Andrew and Geraldine Weryavah; his maternal grandfather Arnold Hester; alongside many uncles, aunts and cousins.
