Oklahoma City, Oklahoma April 2014 December 10, 1956 ~ April 20, 2014 ANADARKO: Sandra Pewo Washington, of Anadarko, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014, in Oklahoma City. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at Victory Assembly of God, Anadarko, with Pastor Sam Ware officiating under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home. Sandra was born December 10, 1956, to Wilbur and Ruth Baldwin Pewo in Albuquerque, N.M. She attended South Mountain High School and Caddo Vo- Tech. for Culinary Arts. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, gardening, and loved to cook. She is survived by her husband, Michael Todd Washington, of the home; four children: ChiLynn Lopez, Leo Gonzales, and Alejandro Gonzales, all of Carnegie; and Debra Washington, of Anadarko; brother, Curtiss Pewo, of Arizona; sister, Carrie DesMais, of Arizona; seven grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and many friends. We would also like to recognize some special people in her life: The Greenhill Baptist Sisterhood of Talihina; Bessie Ahhaitty, of Anadarko; and Victory of Assembly of God Church family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Wilbur Pewo Jr. and Ruth Pewo; infant children; brother, Wilbur Pewo III; uncles: Samuel Pewo, Tedd Pewo, Wilson Pewo, and Grover Pewo; aunts: Marie Pewo, Juanita Pewo Bentley, Dorothy Sapcut, Velma Tooisgah, Alice Miller and Pearl Ware. |
