Kenneth Milton Sapcut
April 11, 1932 ~ December 5, 2014


BOONE-APACHE Funeral for Kenneth Milton Sapcut, 82, Boone-Apache, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Apache Reformed Church with nephew Baxter Lee Asepermy officiating. Mr. Sapcutt went to be with the Lord Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, with his family by his side in Midwest City.

Burial will follow at Cache Creek KCA Cemetery, west of Apache, under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the church.

Kenneth was born April 11, 1932, in Apache to Marion Ahdosy and Frank Sapcut. He was a full-blood member of the Comanche Nation and the Penna-tuka Band.

He grew up in the Boone-Apache area and attended Apache High School.

He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 and was released from active duty and transferred to the Army Reserves and completed eight years of service. While in the military, he was stationed at the Air Force Base in Elmendorf, Alaska, and his medals include the National Defense Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was very proud to serve in the Army and the National Guard. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Cache Creek Mission, southwest of Apache.

His favorite foods were Church's Chicken and strawberry soda.

His pastime hobby was reading and watching his favorite shows on TV, and exercise especially walking daily. Christmas was his favorite time of year decorating his home with help of his grandchildren. He gave his youngest sister, Sharon, her Comanche Indian name when she was 2 years old.

Survivors include his brother, Richard Sapcut and wife Fran, Lawton; sisters: Barbara Sapcut Asepermy, Mary Sapcut and Sharon Sapcut Enriquez, all of Apache, and Patricia Sapcut Whitewolf and husband Roderick, Lawton; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was very thoughtful to his nieces, nephew and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Marion Ahdosy Sapcut; a sister, Andretta Koassechony; a brother, Vincent Ronald Sapcut; a niece, Melissa Asepermy; and a granddaughter, Michelle Renee Redbone.

Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Apache Reformed Church in Apache.

Wilbur Glenn Sapcut
February 14, 1947 ~ May 3, 2015


APACHE Wilbur Glenn Sapcut, 68, of Apache, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015, in Oklahoma City with his family by his side.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday May 6, 2015, at West Cache Creek KCA Cemetery, Apache, under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at United Methodist Church of Apache, with Tina Baker and Tom Ware, certified lay speakers of U.M.C., officiating.

Wilbur was born February 14, 1947, in Lawton, to George and Dorothy Sapcut.

He grew up in Apache and attended Apache Schools until he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Wilbur G. Sapcut served in the Air Force from 1964 to 1984, earning the rank of tech sergeant. He served in Vietnam for 42 months based at Ton Son Nhut and Tuy Hoa Air Bases. Tech Sgt. Sapcut also served at Minot Air Force Base, N.D.; Pope AFB, North Carolina; Lackland AFB, Texas; Castle AFB, California and Fort Polk, La. and overseas in England and Germany. He was a manager and vehicle pperations NCO. His awards include the Air Force Commendation [2]; Good Conduct [5]; National Defense Service; Vietnam Service, Vietnam Campaign with/1960 Device and Vietnam Gallantry Cross with/Palm and the Air Force Outstanding Unit and Longevity Service Ribbons [3].

He is survived by: brother, Leland V. Sapcut; sisters: Rita Sapcut Coosewoon, Aruillia Sapcut Craig, Deloris Ann Sapcut Aitson, Georgia Ann Sapcut, Beverly Sapcut Isaac and Yonevea Sue Sapcut; extended brothers and sisters: Steven Stone, Clifford Stone, Iris Ahhaitty, Denise Turtle, Jamesena Stone, Sharon Stone and Trecil Macias; cousins: Tom Ware, Marie Ware, Frankie Ware, Tweeky Ware, Gayle [Chee] Bearshield and Bobby Pewo; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Tommie Sapcut, Meredith H. [Butch] Sapcut, and George Sapcut Jr.; and sister; Lorraine [Berdina] Sapcut.
